Axis buildings with MG's on top?

    Hello

Forgive me if I've posted this in the wrong section, not sure which section to put it in, also forgive me for being a bit of a noob in asking this question.

Yesterday when playing against the AI as the Axis I noticed one or two of their buildings had an MG on the top of it defending it. However today I've gone to try to achieve the same thing and I can't see how it was done by the AI - the building (Kriegsbarracks in this case) won't let me garrison troops in it and I can't find an upgrade that adds the MG to the building.

Would anyone be able to tell me how that is done?

    Thanks.

You get those MGs on all base buildings when you go Defensive Doctrine and unlock "Fortify the Perimeter". (That's the 2nd upgrade on the left side of the tree, it comes after 2 Command Points).

Ah I see. I always go for the terror doctrine or the one in the middle, guess that's why I've never seen it.

Didn't consider it was a doctrine ability/upgrade. Doh!

    Many thanks.
