    Since this has come up before, I feel like it needs a tutorial:

    If you have a file, let's say "C:\myFolder\mySubFolder\stuff.txt", and you are currently in a different directory, let's say "C:\myFolder\aDifferentSubFolder\", and you want to access the file, you would have to go up one level to "C:\myFolder\" and then navigate to "C:\myFolder\mySubFolder\". To do this in the command line, you would type "cd ..\mySubFolder\stuff.txt". Does that make sense?

    In the time of OS's like windows this knowledge will be lost more and more. This relative pathing thingy comes from the old times of commandline based OS's like unix, linux, dos etc. Sure it still works but is sometimes unknown in the new generation.

    The only real difference with Windows is that it is more subtle. there are buttons that do it for you, but the relative pathing is still there.

    For some reason, you added:

    Code:
    [[..\..\Weapons\Rifles]],
    to the g_41_rifle.abp, which should not be there.

    Next, you did not add an extra set of ".." to the engineer.abp, even though I instructed you to do so here.

    Please, read what I said here to get a better understanding of how folders work, so that you can make the correct changes.

    How difficult would it be to post a list of of anim table appearances or what have you (or possibly just attrib stuff to paste into your folders) ? I only ask because I personally have the technical skill of a brick and would love to use the majority of your weapons.

    If I download and install everything needed to run the weapons
    I install the MG34 and there was no problem but if I gave mg42 that problem
    both the same but I did not fail because the mg42

    Dartborne is right, it is probably because you did not edit your MG Gunner's .abp file. You can either put the new sync file in the MG Gunner or link the commonitems to the MG Gunner.

    As I've mentioned previously, the Blue Box means that your pathing (where the file is located) is incorrect.

    You'll need Object Editor. Also, they are Relic's sounds, just FYI. The M1919A4 uses the sound Relic intended for that weapon. I'm not sure about the M2HB, as I have not used one in game in a while. However, keep in mind that the only comparisons are to vehicle weapons, which are usually much quieter than infantry weapons because there tend to be more of them on screen. It might be better to replace the sound for the Jeep and vehicle gunners to match the HMG variants.

    A small gripe eli, you seem to have swapped the bolt-action style reload of the G43/Lee-Enfield (the weapon I used had no windup in the weapon file itself, this might be causing it)/G41 for the submachine gun-type reload; afaik this is inaccurate as the G41 and G43 were primarily reloaded with two 5-round stripper clips rather than a magazine change as is commonly portrayed.

    Now that I've gotten this to work, I have to say, outstanding work!

    Eli, begging for one last bit of help before the thread closes. For some reason I'm getting relic game crashes before the game even finishes loading after I added the G41 into the game. I followed the proper steps that you gave to striker--at first I did it wrong and only got the missing .lua cubes too. Then the game wouldn't load at all. What might be causing this?
