OI think you arranged the whole thing, hired the exact same hall, and thousands of actors, the out of work moderator, judges, gathered all the legitimate winners with their models and all the runners up, also rans, and outright losers; news and craft model magazine coverage just so you could perpetrate this elaborate hoax.

Shame the internals of the torso were missed, there was a good amount of work in there.
Thanks all for the kind comments. Honestly I feel like the paintwork was only just par for the competition, and I'm just happy to be playing in the same park as others. Gonna see what I can do with the lizard an dio though...
About time it got the place it deserved in White Dwarf. Was such a long time waiting I began doubting it. Not usual for White Dwarf to wait 4 full issues to give a Miniature the place it deserves.
But also the reason for me to doubt it was because it was never mentioned the 1st time White Dwarf wrote the report about Golden Demon/Games Day.
There has never been any doubt in your painting skills.
White Dwarf and web coverage of the Golden Demons has been utterly dreadful for the last couple of years. Smaller pictures for a 'full results' article followed up by numerous showcase spreads etc of the winners would be a better idea in my opinion.
