I generally do better with actual scheduled game times announced in advance... Mostly because I only log on to steam community when I know there's a game coming up or I'm specifically looking to play an MP game with dolts. Otherwise I have to say "No thanks, busy" to too many game invites.

but also mumble is a pretty fly hangout. im almost always down in the tank channel (aka, everything but tanks channel)

Everyone get Fall of the Samurai, I can't believe there are like no dolts who enjoy Total War, especially the Shogun 2 stuff, which is just made for online play.


Truthfully though the games are out there, we just need to stop being loner emos and play together.

Well I guess its a case of what you'd want to do, I mean we're pretty limited in scope to shooters - stuff like tribes, BF3, TF2 (which I'd avoid due to silliness and lack of cool items ) because they can support larger teams and a competitive spirit.

Also, L4D2 versus always felt hollow compared to L4D1 (i've still not properly finished L4D2 anyway).

I mean, how about a BF3 game this Sunday? I suppose a massive Day-Z charge is also on the cards (after an ARMA2 sale).

Problem with BF3 is a lot of dolts didn't get it because Origin.

Personally I just didn't get it because I wasn't interested. But even if I had been, Origin.

Natural Selection 2 (I'm in the alpha/beta/whatever they're at right now)
Tribes 2 (Not that anyone else is interested)
BF2142 (Only Battlefield game I have)
League of Legends (Even though I can only play one character with any degree of competence whatsoever)
Brink (I suck at it, but most dolts have it)
AoWII
Sword of the Stars (I freely admit SotSII isn't ready for multiplayer games yet)
Sins of a Solar Empire (Any expansion, though Rebellion is awesomest)
Gotham City Impostors
Super Monday Night Combat
Shogun II (If I must...)


Any RTS or TBS on the list, I have a strong preference for co-op comp stomp, because frankly I'm not any good at them.

Again though, I'm about 1000% more likely to show up if there's a time announced in advance.

Just to name a few I play semi-regularly. I do want B3, but I'm waiting for the price to come down. I may be getting Guild Wars II if I scrape up the money. I'll definately be getting Torchlight II given it's only $20.

Sounds good, nurizeko on Steam for a start, think I have you on there but just in case. And if you got it we can risk voice coms (TS link in my post above).

I'm on that TS fairly often (much better than Mumble BTW ;] ) or we can use mumble.


As for other games, Pally hit it on the head, avoided BF3 because it's sorta samey and the Origin guff, I have MW3 to put on the table if we insist on a generic modern shooter.

I also have TF2 and L4D (which was a fuckin blast when dolts first played).

Honestly I'd part with the money for a new game if enough dolts wanted to play it (dolt play can make a game quite playable tbf) but yeah, if no joy on that front definitely need to organize the Total War dolts.

Yeah... I basically picked up LoL completely because all the dolts on mumble were playing it. It hadn't interested me at all before then, especially knowing I'm not really good at pointy clicky RTS like games. But I stuck with it until I managed to find a character I was at least ok with. I've kind of not played it in ages though, because with the Exalted campaign kind of running out of steam and dying, I haven't had any reason to fire up mumble... And also because this:

I'm also playing tribes ascend, however that really needs a proper clan structure. I recently downloaded tribes 2 because I wanted to try the construction mod, but i havent' got to it yet.

Well, I definately think we need to wait for a big team play game to be released (see Planetside 2 or MWO) for every dolt to be onboard without much trouble. I think we're definately coming up to that again.

But I suggested BF3 because theres DLC for it recently and a lot of dolts were playing it not long ago.

They are? That would have made life so much easier when Lleman, Kresjah, myself and a few other dolts would go troll around in L4D2. I was sure they were down, they weren't popping up in the little ticker at the bottom of the main menu.
