Patches

Reinstalling the games again and I got to the Opposing Fronts game. Looking over the list of patch releases, I can't find the one that goes from 2100 to 2101. I have the 140 to 2101, but I had done everything in increments as before.

I did not try to install 171 to 2101 before the installation of Opposing Fronts though (which is probably my error). Possibly for fear it would just reset me back to the stock patch that OF is and then I'd be right back where I am

I've done this all before with no problems, its just been so long ago I can't remember.

Anyway, barring a complete uninstall and reinstall, I think that's all I need, the very patch that follows the OF install.

The only one I see is 2.100 to 2.103. I don't see how this is a problem. If anything, that's two patches you don't have to download.

True enough, and I got it all sorted. I now know why I dreaded this for so long There were at least two patches among the ones I have for stock CoH and OF I didn't even do. I ended up stopping at 171, then just installing OF from there. I did the same for OF, stopping at the 2301 patch, before installing ToV. My first run through, the game wouldn't allow me the option of installing ToV. That time I had already put the 2301-2400/2400-2500 on there which probably messed me up.

Now all that's left is trying to dig through the net to find all my favorite maps. One of the sites I went to back in the day had a bunch of new and old ones converted to .SGA but it went kablooie.

You could have saved yourself a lot of work by not installing vCoH or OF at all. Just install ToV, patch it up and unlock the rest of the content by adding your vCoH and OF CDkeys to it.

Interesting, don't think I ever heard about that. I just went with the flow more or less, as I bought each game and patched them as I got them.
