.Hod 3D Screensaver??

I've been searching the web for some time now, for a cool custom 3d screensaver, hell, any sort of 3d screensaver that would let me use my own custom 3d files, mostly HW ships. Can you belive there isn't one single app that allows you to use your own 3d files? Only text and pics

Now it hit me, what if i used CFHODED? I'm not a programmer, but surely it would be easy for one to turn that code into a screensaver, it's mostly removing the editing parts and add the screensavig bit, there could be a custom folder were the HODs would be, it would ramdonly show one and slowly spin or something...

What do you guys think?
And if there's no one up for it, is the creator of cfhod anywere to be found??

You could make a movie of the scene you want using FRAPS and use DreamScene to run it as your Desktop background.

That's a option, but i would prefer a screensaver, but imagine having a video for each unit i wanted, it would be crazy work and would be a huge file playing on the background and logging my system. I'll have to wait until someone comes up with a app that uses 3d files on screensavers :S.
But seeing that you are the only one who replied i wont bother anyone else about this crazy idea of mine.

good luck dissecting a win screensaver, I thought they where pretty close to complied .exe's in their structure

Ajlsunrise, i would really appreciate it if you could somehow get it working, if you are a programmer maybe striping cfhod source code and making it a screensaver...
