    GD(olts) UK 2012 - Reboot

Since the original thread got lost in the server backup, here goes again:

Starting from last year's lack of organisation before Games Day UK 2011 leading to dolts bemoaning the last-moment calls for who's-in and where-to? i open this thread two months in advance to gather dolts around. Don't hesitate to include infos to organise meetups and potential carpooling as well as a general on-site rendezvous. That and Saturday's visiting of Brummy's landmarks and sightseeing, i mean pubbing.

This is rather shorter than the original but the ongoers so far are Bowkers, Pocktio, Sword Monkey, Arid[NO SPACE ARGGHGHGHG]Monk, Gorb, I. Memory serves me not well, so don't hesitate to repost with your departure point and the means of transportation intended.
E.g. Lleman, drive from Laval (France) on Sat. 22nd to Paris; plane to Brum Int'l Airport the same day. ETA 10 AM.

Looking forward to meeting you guys again (or for the first time ).

EDIT: And yes, we'll still throw in a slaaneshi Pocktio for any new attendee (there's no reason you don't suffer from this plague either).

I shall be there, driving from Nottingham sunday am and heading back straight after, unless there is shenanigans with demons, in which case I'll be heading to Bugmans afterwards.

If anyone wants a lift from Notts / surrounding area, yell.

I shall be driving my pimpwagon from North London to Brum.

Any dolts that are inbetween here and there are welcome to hop aboard the rape train.

I'm not surprised. Anything within three feet of you seems to end up full of knife shaped holes.

I'll be in Worcester, so I'll be attending. Not sure on transport yet, but it is quite close so that's not too bad.

What, Heretic? You mean you won't use the Molesty Machine again this year? This'll make a sad Pocktio undoubtedly.

I could use the Molesty Machine I guess. Although it reminded me more of the gangster car from the Wacky Races.

One month+ away from the event now. Who's definitely coming/not coming (booooh!), arriving a day or more before, etc. etc. ?

I have yet to buy a ticket but will as soon as I get paid.

Brilliantly I have a company seminar that weekend in Brum so I've got a hotel booked for 2 nights :-P

I will also be going to vodka revs on the Saturday, but will pop over to the spoons. Assuming we're returning there, good cheap booze ans all.

Still waiting on Hirmy, so dunno if I can come. Depends heavily on job circumstances.

If I can come, I may invite myself to Revs unless it's a company do thingy, Pock

@ Winterdyne: Well, i doubt i'll be dinner-type, but i'll be sure to buy you a drink or two the day before (if not also on site ). I've 'known' you for a few years now and meeting the legendary 'Dyne in the flesh would be a great time! Looking forward to that.

Well, Gorb's patience has been rewarded. I will attempt to order tickets later today - me, Julian, PacPomarnacki and Gorb should all be attending. It's suggested we show you English hospitality Lleman, as recompense for years past.

I'm shivering in my boots now. D:
Speaking of hospitality, hum, i'll arrive on Sat. 22nd at BHX. Is there anyone in Brum whose couch, carpet, doormat i could use for the night? I'm rather clean, unencumbering, easy to maintain and will treat any garlicky odour prior to translating to Albion. Found out last year that dozing in pubs is absolutely intolerable, so...

My apartment is extremely limited in size but it should be able to fit a scrawny Frenchie!! Sword Monkey has already nabbed some floor, so feel free.

This may or may not be of interest to any of you, and certainly isn't TT related, but:

The virtual version of the popular fantasy board game (which is played on a tabletop...tenuous link...) Talisman will be shown off at Games Day. Awesome!

Additionally Pocktio and I traumatised the minds of various adults and children while idly chatting waiting for our copies of Pariah to be signed by Abnett.

    Oh, and a footnote.

    PARIAH IS AWESOME, BUY IT.

I'm too busy basking in the sexy sexyness that is Betrayal to read Paraiah.

Sorry couldn't catch up with you guys this year. Was laid out most of last week and the weekend with the flu.

I could have cosplayed a good herald of nurgle or a plague zombie, but not much fun would have been had. Dave is supposedly bringing back my Spess Mehreen mini.

Will catch you guys next year I hope!

Pariah was too short... I started and finished it this morning, took me about two hours. Not that that's a criticism though, I just loved it so much I pretty much read it instantly...
