Help: Hyperspace gate formed but ships refuse to jump.

Hi, I rewrote parts of my Sector mode this morning and tried to include Gates.

Not I ahve the Problem, that all Gates are placed fine and all automations are working. But after deploying and linking the Gates with a script, I'm not able to use them for Hyperspace jumps.

The Animation and symbol show up, I can click the gates .... my ships confoirm the order, move closer and .... do nothing. They simply sit there and do nothing else.

Maybe I missed something, but thats what I have done:
spawn 2 gates for race "-1"
Deploy all gates. with "SobGroup_SetAsDeployed"
Link the gates. with "SobGroup_FormHyperspaceGate("Gate_A", "Gate_B")"

And if i'm not totally worng you could use other races gates.


If anyone out there has an idea what could cause this behavior, please help me. I'm totally stuck.

Edit: Funny thing... I can link them with my own Gates, but they can only jump from me gate to the other .... no way back possible.

I believe you had to capture another player's gate to use it.
Could that mean that they will not work while they belong to player -1?

.. You seem to be right. It's only working when it's your....

Well, as I don't want to use an additional player for the Gates, it will need some scripting.
