    Mod: Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2: Retribution - The Last Stand Rebalanced

    General Indormation
    This is my mod for The Last Stand in Dawn of War 2: Retribution. This is not a mod that is made to make the last stand easier, but rather making every wargear usfull. It might get a little easier, but that is sad, a little. It might be a little more unbalaced then expected since it's the first versiona and not really tested. It's always hard to think of all the ways it might get imbalanced.
    The name of the mod is simply Warhammer 40,00: Dawn of War 2: Retribution - The Last Stand Rebalanced and is compatible with newest Dawn of War: Retribution version, (3.19.1.6123), with whatever dlc used.

    Link and installation help: There will soon be a link(s) added so this mod can be downloaded. The Reason is because I want to have some feedback on the changes I have made, to know if there is some change that is not appreciated. Then I can change them and spare me some effort to have to make repack the mod again, upload and etc. The installation help text will be added when the mod is released.

    Features of the mod include: Changes on the following wargear (no changes if not listed and +/- is on the original values, exampel: percent 50%-20%=30%, cooldown 5+2=7). The times when I have wrote something like: new dmg 15, it because i can't remeber the original value. The many dmg increases is most often: on melee weapon per hit and on ranged weapon per second.

    Eldar Farseer
    Armor of Vaul: +50 hp, 0.3 energy regeneration
    Pistol of the Warseer: +1 healt regeneration
    Pistol of the Doomseer: Eldritch Bolt - +240 AP, cooldown +2 sec
    Witchblade of the Crone: +Fearless, +4 dmg
    Runess of Fleetness: Fleet of Foot - no damage penelty, +30% less damage taken
    Singing Spear: +100 AP, +1 health regeneration
    Rune Armor: +20 armor rating, +0,3 energy regeneration
    Runes of Vigor: +1 health regeneration
    Ghosthelmet: +Make melee attacker suppressed.
    Runes of Evasion: +Grant ability - invisibility
    Runes of the Spider: Changed name to Runes of the Warp spider, +grant ability: teleport
    Armor of Eldanesh: +0.3 energy regeneration, +25 energy.
    Warp Spear: New dmg per hit is 24, +100 AP
    Laughing Stave: Proparly displayed trait - unshakable
    Debilitating Witchblade: +8 dmg, Sap - -20% damage reduction, 5 energy on kill
    Armor of Idranel: +19 armor rating, Foresight - -20%

    Ork Mekboy
    Big Shota: +Hidden 50 AP
    Burna: +hidden 25 AP
    Bobby Traps: -5 energy cost.
    Speshul Tools: +0.3 energy regeneration, -25 energy
    Big Choppa: +14 dmg
    Sturdy Bitz: +25 heath, +1 health regeneration
    Mad Teleporta Pack: +59 armor rating, +0.3 energy regeneration, +25 energy
    Boom Time!: Grant ability - ‘Uge Bombz - the same ability as the ‘Uge Bombz accessory grant, but with -5 energy cost and -3sec cast time
    Rokkit Launcha:Proparly displayed AP - 140 AP, new damage 18 per rocket, faster firing speed, grant ability - salvo: energy cost 15, fires 9 rockets at long rage dealing 9x18(+140 AP) dmg
    Electric Armor: +100 armor rationg
    Dakka Deffgun: +new damage 33 dmg,
    Proximity Mines: +Increased dmg and AP
    ‘Uge Bombz - Name changed - Shiny eye, Ability replaced with Target 'em, Target 'em - cost 5 energy, cause all attacks on target unit deal 30% extra dmg
    Kustom Force Field: +22 armor rationg, +2sec duration on force field
    Pokkit Rokkit Launcha: Proparly displayed AP- 140 AP

    Space Marine Chaptain
    Bolter: +0.3 energy regeneration, +about 13 dmg.
    Master-Crafted Bolt Pistol: -0.5 healt regeneration, +0.3 energy regeneration
    Master-Crafted Chainsword +14 dmg, -5 health per hit
    Armor of Resilience: +34 armor rationg
    Rite of Swift Victory: Victory Charge - +small dmg bost
    Parable of the Stalwart Brother: -0.5 health regeneration, +0.3 energy regeneration
    Litanies of Hate: +30 armor rating
    Armor of Vengeance: Reactive Strike - Increased possibility and dmg
    Terror of Xenos: Fearsome Shout - -5 energy cost
    Litanies of Zeal: Changed to not have 5 hp per hit to be 50% of damage caused per hit.
    Plasma Cannon: Increased firing speed, made useble with jump pack
    Frag Grenades: Add 100 AP to ability
    Thunder Hammer: Grant trait - unshakable, +100 AP, +10 dmg
    Sacred Relic Armor: +27 armor rationg

    Tyranid Hive Tyrant
    Extended Carapace: Bio-Plasma - now fires three bio-plasma balls
    Seismic Roar: Seismic Roar - Longer duration and larger aoe
    Genestealer Nest: Genestealers - +2 dmg, -20 AP, attack cause -10 armor ration. Increase summon cost +5 energy
    Thornback: Changed name to exoskeleton, grant - +50 armor rationg, +0.3 energy regeneration, +25% move speed, +30% dmg, +1.0 health regeneration to all nerbye allies.
    Warrior Nest: Sligtly increased dmg
    Heavy Talons: +4 dmg, +100 AP, -knock back on hit, grant ability: charge - same as thornback had but do a small amount extra dmg.
    Articulated Carapace: +34 armor rating, horror - now cost 10 energy and new resharge time is 3sec,
    Crushing Talons: +25hp, +5,4 dmg
    Reinforced Chitin: +92 armor, +100hp, +30% dmg, minion - +30% dmg and health, can't be used with Implant Attacks
    High-Toxin Venom Cannon: +Hidden 50 AP,
    Rending Stranglethorn: +Hidden 70 AP, +2.2 dmg
    Thornback Carapace: +50hp, 1.0 health regeneration, +0.3 energy regeneration

    Chaos Sorcerer
    Mark of Tzeentch: +0.3 energy regene
    Tome of Hunger: Cost -5 to cast as narcissistic.
    Icon of Summoning: +25 armor rating
    Daemonic Gift of Retaliation: Reactive Strice - Increased dmg and probability to occur.
    Icon of Change: +50 armor rationg, +0.3 energy regeneration, +25 energy, +30 dmg
    Daemonic Gift of Spite: -3 energy cost and -3 recharge time to all abilitys,
    Icon of Pain: +25 armor rating
    Cataclysmic Hellblade: Grant traits: Greater Sorcery and Master Sorcery - same as the original, +0.3 energy regeneration
    Accursed Idol: Enemies attacking the sorcerer on melee and ranged will resive 150% of damage caused and be supressed.
    Oracle Stave: +2 dmg

    Lord General
    Deadly Sniper Rifle: +10 dmg, faster firing speed, +30 dmg to High-Powered Shot
    Bolter: Increased dmg for wearer and guardsmen, heal 50% of dmg caused, +0.5 energy regeneration
    Flamer: +Hidden 50 AP, guardmens flamer - new dmg 2
    Inspiring Power Sword: +0.5 energy regeneration, +3 dmg
    Medallion Crimson: +10% dmg
    Protective Power Sword: new dmg 16, +0.5 energy regeneration
    Repair: removed energy cost and lowerd repair time
    Catachan:Sligtly increased dmg
    Reinforce: removed energy cost and lowerd deploy time
    Mordian Pattern Carapace Armor: Greatly increased dmg of Heavy Turrent's main cannon
    Grenade Launcher: Increased dmg for werer and guardsmen, +0.5 energy regeneration
    Armageddon Pattern Carapace Armor: Fix the aoe of the Vanquisher Heavy Turret's main cannon.
    Take Aim!: -10 cool down
    Plasma Gun: Increased dmg for wearer and guardsmen, +0.5 energy regeneration
    Duelist Honors: +10% melee dmg
    Ornate Vostroyan Shotgun: +0.5 energy regeneration
    Ursidae Trophy: +35 armor rationg

    Tau Commander
    Flamer: +Hidden 25 AP
    XV8 ‘Light’ Crisis Battlesuit: +20 armor rationg
    Photon Grenades: Photon Grenade - -5 energy cost
    Energy Core: +0.3 energy regenration
    Shield Drone Controller: -10 energy cost
    Airbursting Fragmentation Projector: Grant supression, -lowered dmg, faster firing speed
    Iridium Plated Shield: +30% dmg
    XV8 ‘Agile’ Crisis Battlesuit: +20 armor rating
    Markerlight: -5 energy cost and -10 resharge rate for Sky Ray Barrage

    Miscellaneous information
    I will start a grop on steam soon to help people find someone to play with. Any bugs, errors or suggestions on changes can be posted in this forum. I will not release anything like this to vanilla/CR.

    Credits
    The creator of the mod was... well me, only read a couple of tutorial and spend some of my time in it. With that sad you don't need to know that much about modding to do what I have, it's mostly the time you need. And creadits to all creators of the mod tools I've used. To lasy to list all though as it feel like every on knows who made them anyway as it stand in almost every mod released.

    I remember modding last stand about a year ago and in doing so, my last stand characters became bugged and are no longer playable. contacting steam support several times they've said there is nothing they can do about it. Have you managed to find a way to mod it so that it doesnt disable and bug out your characters?

    Really? Well there are other mods for last stand and they have not have that problem what I know. Is this only for the last stand or dose it crash directly on game start. The only problem I heard of is that any replacing of wargear may cause the game to crash because the steam store what wargear you are using and when you try to switch to mod/vanilla the game crash because the wargear that is equipped do not exist any more. You should try to restore the same mod you where using, preferable the same version. Then start the game, and do not crash, play a round with every character without any wargear, then remove the mod and play the game and hope it will not crash. But if this do not fix it do the classic thing, try re-install and removing of all mod, still crashing, apply exactly what mod you where having, start the game again, still crashing, I don't know any thing else to do. The same method apply to if the game crash trying to use a mod. I don't really know what might be the problem if else, I have to make detailed search on this before i release the mod, because I don't want to brick the game for any one.

    Come to think if this mod was before the Tau update, and never updated after that, the game might always crash if you try the fix involving the case where its the vanilla game that crash for you because the "mod saves" are relying on the old content in the mod, and the Tau save are added in to the game save files, then the wargear that didn't exist before can't be found in the mod. But this should not be i problem i think, other wise I don't know if you have to add all the tau wargear in the mod and update the mod by yourself, but as i wrote this should not be a problem. With that sad try update to the new version of the mod if the fix in the above post didn't work and do the same thing as it but with the new version.

    Come to think that the crash problem caused by corrupt save data can be prevent for any one thinking of using this now. The the crash problem can be prevented by turning off steam cloud and when you want play vanilla, remove the mod and download the old cloud files that hasn't been modified and then the stats hasn't been reset or changed. That should be completely safe.

    Is this project still active? I'd like to try it, sounds nice! I play Last Stand a lot, but few people seem to play it nowdays.
