This may strike you as odd, but do Elves have pupils?
Because in Warhammer Online they look Dunmer like(Like eyes from The Elder Scrolls). Meanwhile on the covers of The Sundering saga(Malekith, SK, Caledor) they have no pupils(or I am Blind). Yet on Blood of Aenarion and Sword of Caledor I am pretty sure that Tyr+Tec have them...
So wtf is the answer...?
The same applies to Eldar really...

Well, considering that pupils are what allow the retinas to receive light, I'd say they probably have them or they would most likely be blind. Them not having them in illustrations most likely artistic license.
Yes it does seem ridiculous. How would other Elves know where the particular Elf was looking? Useful in body Language and etc...
The other thing that is ridiculous is Sullivan's fascination with blue/White eyed elves(really can Malekith AND Alith{sounds fine seeing as they're Naggarothi} AND Imrik{here it deviates in ludicrous-Naggarothi and Caledori Elves to look alike-besides hair?} have the same eyes???).
I just think Sullivan should keep to baneblades/dreadnoughts...
