    Nobz...how do YOU say it?

How do you pronounce it?? I have always thought it was supposed to be with a long "o", since it is supposed to be the orky version of a nobleman. I have always heard most other people pronounce it the other way, with a short "o", as in knob. Just wondering about you other folks out there...

its definitly pronounced knob not noab

ps, could you please change your sig... i find it offencive
stewie - "this is almost as good as when the emperor came up wth the forumla for great star wars dialogue"
    *cut to episode VI*
Emperor - "something something something DARKSIDE"

Knobs. Much of the original 40k was composed of english slang jokes.

[edit: Because the ordinary Ork would see these guys as a real pain in the backside.. Trying to get them to organise and all that. ]

Ah, I got it. Thank you for the clarification.

Nightbringer, how could you possibly find my signature offensive? If you do not accept the statement made, can you not just let it pass? I am not convicting you of anything. My faith requires me to proclaim what I believe in, and one of the ways I do that is through my signature. I am truly sorry if you find it offensive, but I cannot in good conscience change it and remain true to my Christian faith.

Bring back your signature if you want. Don't let him tell you otherwise.

Nightbringer, I find your abuse of the english language offensive. Please use correct spelling and grammar from now on. Thank you.

sorry for saying i found it offencive, but none of you know how much shit i've been put through by "christians", so to me, seeing that provoked an imediate response. i apologise for speaking my opinion.

and sir guppy, yeah its big and green, but i doubt anyone can call it a poor quote, seeing as it basically epitimises the ork way of war. if you can find a better quote, by all means be my guest.

and peer, this is a forum, not an english exam, so what if i spell just as "jsut" you can quite easily see what the word is, so unless i get a formal message form a moderator saying i should improve my spelling, then i dont give a rats arse whether you say i should

i suspect this thread will be locked the microsecond a mod looks at it seeing as th question put forward has been answered by numourus members

again, brother jonah, i apologise for my outburst :$

None of you know how much shit I've been put through by poor spellers, so to me, seeing your unintelligible gibberish provoked an immediate response.

Furthermore, it is common courtesy to do your best when spelling and using grammar. Keep in mind that people will read what you say, so not even trying to use correct spelling grammar is like giving a big hearty 'fuck off' to the poor souls attempting to decipher your hieroglyphics.

I know for a fact I am far from the only person on these boards who finds your character and arrogance nearly intolerable. Shape up while you still have the chance.

NB, i guess you havent read this then: http://forums.relicnews.com/announcement.php?f=90

So if that isnt formal enough for you, then i guess i dont know what is.

As for your "outburst" it was a bad judgement on your part which you have admited to. I am sure that everyone here has their own demons but they dont let it show. So next time, as a word of advise, THINK before you open your mouth. It helps trust me. Speaking your opinion or mind is not a bad thing, but use your friggin head next time.

    Good Day sirs.

As for saying Nobz, hehehe i always found that funny. Me likey the orkses.

Personally, I like posts that are off topic more than I like posts of "OMG THIS NEEDS TO BE LOCKED!" But that's just me. And I do actually pronounce it "knobs".

lol to tell you the truth i think that quote is actually quite cool i was just looking for a way to flame. and anyway i can understand how chrisitians can be alightly annoying at times. i feel i may regret saying thislater but what they hey.

in my opinion the odd spelling mistake or incorrect grammer is fine with me, and grammer and spelling deamons who always complain about it can also be slightly annoying.

also i hate it when threads get locked it pisses me off. the thread should just be left to run its course, its lame when mods say now your not talking bout what your spost to so im gonna lock this thread because it gives me a daily fix of power. by locking every thread that goes off topic suggests that you need to make a new thread for every single bloody question, why not just let a single thread run its course and answer a lot of questions. bah.

i agree but at the same time its kind of good because you dont have to go sifting through all the threads with titles you arent concerned about to find that little bit of info on something, locking a thread thats off topic creates a new one with that title therefore making the info easier to find, never the less, why not let someon make a new one if they want and leave the old one
