This forum is dedicated to game, movie and book reviews submitted by members of the forum.

Mostly we are quite lenient with spelling on these forums. We do have a guideline that requires you to post in legible English, however most of the time unless a post is completely unreadable, we let it slide. This will not be the case in this forum.

Each and every review MUST be put through a spell checker. This is because we wish these reviews to be easily read by the forum members, without having to decipher what you are trying to say.

You MUST use the format provided below for each review. It’s the standard we have agreed upon, so therefore everyone shall use it. If your review does not adhere to the legibility and format rules, it will be deleted without question. If it conforms at a later date, you are free to add it to the thread.


How this forum operates

Each game, book or movie has its own thread. Within each thread are contained the reviews from members of the forum regarding the game, book or movie.

There will be only one thread for each thing reviewed.

If you are the FIRST person to post about something (that is, the thread maker) you will have additional information to include at the top of your post, and you will also be responsible for the naming of the thread. Both of these requirements are laid out below.

After a thread is created, others are then free to include their own reviews for each game. Remember each review including the first, must use the format provided.

Over all Scoring scale:

96-100 - LEGENDARY: An absolute classic that does just about everything perfectly that it tries to do. One of the best gaming experiences that you could ask for.

91-95 - SUPERB: Top quality. This game would be way up there on the list of anyone's top games. Players will be very glad they bought this game.

86-90 - EXCELLENT: Not the top of the heap, but a thoroughly enjoyable game with strong appeal for gamers. You should definitely buy it if it's your kind of genre.

81-85 - VERY GOOD: Well worth the money. Not the best game ever made due to some notable flaws and the occasional burp in its execution, but recommended anyway.

76-80 – GOOD: The game has more positive than negative things, but could have been better. This game is not a total waste of money for the average gamer, but don't set your expectations too high.

71-75 – FAIR: They didn't quite get it. This game might entertain you, but might not stay on your hard drive for a long while.

61-70 – BORDERLINE: There are some fairly good things to say about this title, and it might appeal to some players, but nothing that would make most people want to get it. Spending your money elsewhere might be the way to go.

51-60 – MEH: I might install and play it if someone gave it to me for Christmas, but I wouldn't buy it myself if I had a choice. Too many problems and missed chances to do things right. It's just not that good a game.

41-50 – BAD: This irritating game is of very low quality or has so many more faults compared to its questionably good points, it can't be enjoyed. You'd be wise to avoid it.

21-40 – TERRIBLE: Take a large wet trout to the game makers for releasing this piece of crap. Totally not fun, and with a list of complaints so long, the CD would produce much better value as a coffee coaster.

11-20 – ABYSMAL: One of those rare games that makes you want to take a light saber to its creators. Not entertaining, not done well, not worth the price to buy it... not anything that you'd actually want in a game. If you buy this, you will want to picket the gaming store where you got it from.

01-10 - I THREW UP ON THE BOX: There is no possible way that anyone who is not clinically insane could find anything nice to actually say about this absolute turd of a game. I'd say buy it for your worst enemy, but the makers would actually get some revenue if you did that, and they should be driven out of business as soon as possible.
