i know they are really needed. As like a better scout then your little flying guys. but cant jump things.
I think they can be usefull to take quickly some strategical points on the map... or to lauch an assault..
yeah assualt bikes owuld be good taking them cause thye will also have some power to kill small squads.
If they can run ppl over whilst firing than yes introduce bikes, otherwise no.
I don't think bikes should be able to take locations. It would be cool if they had a good attack against buildings though.
There aren't many units you can harass your opponents base with without a fullblown assault.
If you play the table top game, you know what bikes are capable of. If Relic doesn't add them, I'm sure someone will mod them in!
I agree, bikes would be very cool scout vehicles... almost a little too good i suppose. If they were implemented, they would definetly need to be easily taken down by turrets, otherwise it would be to easy to see someones base by just taking a quick drive though. (Think of the style factor though- bikes jumping over hills and stuff ).
Bikes would be great for all the Race's
But you the Ork world crush a lot
Bikes are good infantry killers I think.
And I agree that if they are implemented in Dawn of War, a lot of players will abuse it. Maybe making it weaker would be a good idea.
yeah sure... BIKES for everyone
Bikes would be perfect for chaos atm.
They are the only race without a fast vehicle.
Make them like the hover car type things (I'm no WHM fanatic, I don't know every unit's name off by heart!) but considerably weaker.
Nitro instead of the Jump thing, now that'd be fun... increases speed but decreases damage and armour until the Nitro wears off. If anything can hit it, going at that speed... could be a little catastrophic...
Nitro into Landmines... *vroooooooooom!* *BOOOOM!* *bike and rider go sailing across the enemy base* "Hey, look, that guy is flying without a jetpack!" "Yeah, but there's gonna be some SERIOUS impact when he hits the floor." "True, true."
