Does anyone actually know how this blasted power actually works? Gar.

It makes troops so they won't die for a short period of time. I'm not sure if it works on units in a radus, squad who the librarian is attached to, vehicles, or what. I do know that it makes units unable to be killed, tho they will take damage to one health.
thats exactly what it does and it only affects the squad that you apply it too
It work's best on the group that your attached to.... i belive it's a very small range of effect but you can get other's into the range ^_^

By the time we'd scattered his outer turrets to the wind, I'd lost maybe 6 marines tops. After replenishing them I marched my army in and found to my horror(and amusement) that he'd been turtling INSIDE his base, with HB turrets all over the place and taking up almost every single bit of Control Area.
I click Word of the Emperor.
By the time it was over, the base had been reduced to smoking rubble and my marines had only lost another 3 of their numbers.
Some of you might not believe me, but have you seen how quickly 4 Tact squads with 4 missile launchers each take down turrets? It's scary... :P The other 4 had plasma guns in their squads and that took the job of eliminating any enemy space marines left.
In short, Word of the Emperor is your best friend when it comes to wiping out a heavily defended base. I am not totally positive either, but I am very confident that it affects all your units in a quite decent radius, enough to cover several squads.
That isnt possible, seeing as how the ability itself is broken and doesnt work AT ALL.
Ok then it's broken and doesnt work lol how does that work for you :P and sorry i was looking at the arua XDD but word really doesnt seem to work at all... you get the little sound bite the lib does but there's no prove he's done anything but that..... would be nice to have some thing like with chaos breasker were they ture red.......
