-_- did you try the launch bay? I had that happen, all I did was go into the launch menu and then press launch all ships and it fixed it. It happened after I docked all three ships to the Shipyard to use it's uber kill at long range Ion cannon

HI. I've played this mod and I find it awesome, however I'd like to suggest something to the mod team: why not make tech levels so as you can have some things already researched, there are WAY too many things that need to be researched and they consume a ton load of time.
would you A. rather play a long game and enjoy the full blown tech with all ships and abilities and such unlocked besides the challenge of the AI which in this case I LOVE a challenge or B. play a quickie in which you just smash everything... which wouldn't be much of a challenge or be fun at all. I like the long road of techs... it's well how should I say it... it adds flavor to it... this game is meant to have LONG games cause this is just one hell of a damn good MOD

Is there a reason you couldn't have both? And why would you smash the AI if you all started with similar levels of tech?

Seriously now, he probably used some form of the external docking script, however I'm too lazy to search for the exact line of code.
Q: What file(s) control the crew usage/limits? I'd like to rebalance my own build for personal use but I couldn't find a damn thing outside the descriptions that referenced crews/officers.
External...Docking...Script? Is it part of Vanilla HW2, or is it a download somewhere? If it's a download, where can I get it?

yeah he did make it very well , I've seen the 5th and 6th series tralier and whhoa was I blown away ( brobably a nunclear blast ).

Anyways, yes it's vanilla HW2, if you remember in mission 2 the crew transports docked externally to transfer the crew, besides marine frigates and resource collectors all attach themselves to ships in order to capture/repair them. But as I said before I don't know the exact line.
I saw the mission 1 or 2 intro on youtube, did you ( the modding team ) make it while HW2 was being made, the beghins must of been a worker of relic, I promise that the complex mod I will make for my mod I'll be making will be great and I've got it planned out but it would be great if the team would help out with programing and 3D modling, I'll show the team afew designs, as they say " let the wraith hive ships come.
Problem is that there is no way to make the ships stay docked unless they are damaged and the parent ship has no repair capability. Thus, you need a damaged ship for this to work.Sorry didn't see your post until now. Weird.

You do though, have to get permission only if you intend to release it to the public or if the modder or mod team state in a ReadME file or on the mod's site that it can be modded and used for any public releases.

I should be able to play complex on Thursday seeing that last night I bought HW2 and it's coming from Melbourne and Warragul is near by so it should be at my place by Wednesday seeing Melbourne cup is on Tuesday.

I believe that "AI aids" allow the AI to receive some free and instant research, cheaper and quicker ships, and occasional RU injections. Thus, it can build more ships with higher technology faster.
