    this is the link that works for me

    "C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -mod Complex55.big


    the location of the Homeworld2.exe might be different on ur computer, but if create a new link and simply add -mod Complex55.big outside the "" then it should work.


    alsooo... whens the next version out? the previous posts say the weekend just passed..

    I'm excited about the new mod version. I don't post often, but I do stop in a couple of times every month to catch up on posts and watch the progress. Me and my loyal crew of HW2 complex players have been enjoying the awsome work put into this mod for years now. Looking forward to the final version. Weeeeee! ~laughs

    I had this idea for an Ultra Complex Mod.

    Would it be possible to keep all the current upgrades of 5.5 plus setup the mod where you have to upgrade everything in the game ?

    For example, none of the ships have weapons when they are built.

    No pulsars,no guns,destroyers have no turrets...nothing.
    You have to upgrade EVERYTHING.
    strange...as wonderfull as it may be,i'm still...up here... floating...and no one even seems to notice.

    that might be neat for a destroyer, custumize what kind of cannons it has, so you can have some regular one and then on the rear turrent build and ion cannon

    i love taking my time, but even in complex sometimes i feel rushed, my play stye in most games is build a strong economy and then attack with more troops then they ever could

    There are some asteroids in some of the maps that are labeled "Mining Base" but even though there is an indication that you can dock into it,when you give an order to a collector to do so it will just hang around the MS.

    Is this a bug in the game ?

    Have you used the marine frigate to infiltrate the mining base ? You can only occupy the mining base with resource collectors after successful infiltration.

    its labeled as an enemy so you have to cpture it, when you do though get ready for every enemy to attack the base, be sure you have a few battlecruisers gaurding it
