    Total Conversion - 2112,(pics, *MUSCI!*, and alpha link inside)

    Here is an alpha http://2112.modnmod.com/AnimeModv4.zip jsut read the readme. IT won't overwrite dawn of war. It's a simple unzip and play
    It's just a bit of work. 600kb unpacked, 87 files. I need some suggestions on improving what's been changed(solutions on how to fix are good too :P)
    What'ever you post here i'll read. So leave feedback on the alpha please.
    Changelog: It's mostly graphical. I did make avatar and bloodhtirster bigger just for fun, even though all units are going to be replaced. Most bullets were replaced by lasers. Most missles replaced by swarm missles. Increased max weapons limit. Did some balance changes.


    Also, some kickass music from our sound guy, Neomoose.

    Can't say that I'd download it because it isn't 40k but if you like the idea that much then I say go for it.... Oh and nice job on the concept.

    SvK, just a little head's up: On your website many links are dead becausey ou have \index.html instead of /index.html If you change the links to have / isntead of \ they work fine

    I should go over some key features

    Firstly this is a total conversion. All the units will be changed, hopefully along with the menus/GUI

    -The whole requisition/power will be changed slightly
    -The ammount of buildings will be lowered greatly. Units will be brought in by a dropship at a landing pod except for vehicles which will be built.
    -The squad system will change. Instead of reinforcing to add more units you will have different buttons to add different types of units(somewhat like getting new weapons with the spacemarines, but isntead will you be getting new units)
    -Instead of extra units just beaming in they will either parachute down or be transported in by a dropship(whichever works best)
    -Flying vehicles will be added
    -Units will be able to fire out of some vehicles(hopefully)
    -Units will be able to be garrisoned into buildings(hopefully)
    -The cover in craters will be changed to inside of buildings.
    -Melee combat will be changed to be much less of just the units standing there and whacking and more like how the death animations are. More ninja-like :P
    -More units will be like the hero type units with the neat special abilities and such.
    -Partical effects will be changed and new ones added.

    looks good if it ever gets finished ... but how much modelling and coding are you gonna need? What are you saying is a HUGE workload ... People are having trouble and taking a week or so just to do one or two good models, but you are saying you're going to redo them ALL? good luck.

    I've been working on coding and the effects Working hard. TC's always take a while.

    Going to be working on redoing the UI next week also. And the new resource system. Right now I'm working on the squad system and weapons.

    I like the idea of an anime style RTS.

    Few gripes though:

    - The big blue hover tank looks a little too much like the Air Ship from FFX-2.

    - The girl with the gun needs more armour, much more armour. I mean, you could at least give the poor girl some breast and groin protection!

    Other than that, great work so far. I love the guns and the pointy Fighter Jet thing looks very sexy.

    And I know i siad i was going to be working on a flying ship concept.. but i've been busy coding. Both things are so time consuming.

    Holl *^$&, lokk at that tank, im in love. Why is it though, that everyone presumes that DoW can only have WH mods. I for one, would love a different sci-fi mod (Starship troopers for example)
    Anyhoo, love the mod, keep it up!

    You can give a female character a realistic degree of armour and still make her stylish you know:

    I like the Swarmer Missiles and the laser effects are cool.

    I'm not quite sure why you gave Assault Marines so much armour though? I mean, it took 3 squads of Marines, with full heavy bolters and and two full of Rocket Launchers plus a dreadnaught to take one squad down. o_O

    well they were being ******************** by marines, for a unit that's supposed tok ill infantry itsemeed messed up.

    The way the armor peircing is working on the missles it's made them more effective on infantry than usual which was hurting the assault marines bad. I only upped there hit-points about 15%. o_O Maybe your guys weren't upped as much? And remember heavy bolters are for light infantry, plasma pistols are what is supposed to be most effective against assault marines.

    edit: mariens armor being so high is a bug. I pressed the wrong number they were supposed to have 385hp not 3850 lol! x_X

    My only suggestion: lose the 4 on the floor. I have nothing against techno music, it just doesn't belong in an RTS IMO.
