[1v1] CSM vs SMs Badly Need Advice!!!

Description of Battle: A breif encounter where i am out-teched and out-killed.

I really need help with this! I've got by build order sorted (I think) but i can never get to Tier 2 fast enough! Please help me, i can't seem to win recently. Watch replay below.

4 obvious mistakes I could spot.

1.You were late building your first generator. It was built after 11 mins, followed by an armory.
2.You were very late on building listening posts. The SM player had all of his captured points with listening posts.
3. You wasted a lot of money on raptors. Since you noticed your opponent is teching, the only solution is teching yourself. Instead, you built miniguns and plasma guns on your C marines and not a single rocket launcher to counter possible armor. 2 fully upraded raptor squads are over a 1000 in req without counting power. Could be spent on Plasma Gens and a Machine Pit.
4. Sacrificial Pit. Same as above. Possesed Marines are good and all, but not that good against that Dread you knew your opponent would eventually send.

I also noticed you sent a lone CM squad to his base and you had your Chaos Lord outside of battle waiting. Since you had a CL and a CM squad, he must have had an FC and a SM out. Your lone squad would accomplish nothing.

Ok, thanks.
1. When should I build a Plasma Generator then? And i have to build an armoury after the PG so i can get the power.
2. I know i just realised, i had 100 RP at a couple of points when i could have built them.
3. Yeah i know, I should have built them after I'd got to tier two.
4. Again, i should have saved the money and used it on other stuff.

The main reason i didn't have any anti-armour stuff is the fact that i can't seem to tech up to Tier 2 quick enough.
