maybe this question was answerd before but in the full version will the kilrathi make a entrance ? i always loved there ship designs
Not sure if i mentioned this already, but Cains and Liliths have a some target aquisition issues. They dont even fire their laser cannons at fenrises and leviathans anymore. Point-blanked em and nothing. They do fire sporadically at Deimoses tho. Fighters seem to have issues firing at anything larger than a Corvette. The Sobek has some accuracy issues. One cannon consistently misses while the other consistently hits. Is that supposed to happen? Deimoses are too slow. I just played FS2 again, and they go around 30, not 15....(this may or may not conflict with information in the ship database, i dont know)
A suggestion: If youre going for accuracy....you're going to have to give the miners guns.

Then at least when you get around to making a proper collection ship, give it some AA beam guns and flak cannons....but no lasers....wouldnt want it to be able to fight off cap ships after all.
Akalamaika ... sorry about the Ai Problem I posted a few days ago ... the big file works very well. Ai on expert with no Problems.
By the Way what big extractor do you use.
I like to know because the ai doesn't work with the extracted version even if it's fresh extracted. ... with no other mods version 1.1 and so on ...
I think there is a Problem with the way i'm extracting.

fu12, im going to have to ask you to stop posting any error reports, cause you keep repeating reports you made in the past, and your reporting about issues that have been fixed, and i even posted about how ships speeds are now all canonical in the developer versions. And learn about the HW2 engine before making any further suggestions how to "increase" accuracy to FS universe.

mr. WHO, haven't heard from Phelan ever since he reported back here, i don't know whats going on. Duelron is hardly online again, so i don't know if i can give unfunf the go-ahead to release without the .hod fixes, wich resulted in that for the time being unfunf has quit working for the mod.

The slowdown in the Main Menu is caused by your graphic card ... I have tested this ... 5600 FX has these slowdown while 4400 Ti runs perfect.
To fix this slowdown you have to extract the big and delete the Ui folder...
I deleted the shader folder because I had an error with my extractor ....
So please use UnfBig to extract it ok ;-). Not so much trouble with it ^^

Issue: In Sathanas v Collossus battles, the Sathanas always targets the rear engines of the Collossus. This causes some accuracy issues, but the beams also pass through the collossus instead of hitting it...
It's because bad hitbox, we can't do anything without HODer and we desperatly need one![]()
Hi, first off, i love the mod great work but i have a problem, whenever i try to load one of the custom maps the loading will get to "Loading Level" then the game will just crash to the desktop :\ any help would be nice.
[EDIT] Also, how do i know if dynamic music is on? all i hear is the same track over and over.

What about using the new CFHodED to import and edit Models....
If you have the models you can do nearly everything you need to do.

2: do you have to build the colossus
3: if you have to build it is there some spacial way you have to do it or some shit like that

Yep. The tool has itself a Dockpath editor tab. Guess you guys are pretty much good to go once everythings back up to speed ^^
I know this is stupid but the mod won't start. Yes the file is in the data directory, yes I did -modFSNA.big with a space after the properties in a shortcut, yes I have the latest version of hw2, and yes this is not R3 from the main site. But no the mod won't go. I even extracted the file and used -overrideBigFile but HW2 just crashes. Am I missing anything here?

Stupid that it has such a slowdown after being reborn.
There is not much we can do without a hodder, we need the changes of the hodder to make further changes to the ships, as in more accurate weapon placements for the capital ships. And we need the hodder to get rid of the collission box issues with certain ships.
there also seems to be a problem with some of the more expensiv fighters... they are not worth shit in a fight... i dont know whats wrong with them but they seem to get slaughtered even against the most inexpensiv fighters

Because they dont want to release a buggy version. Since they still have problems with some of the ships (Dockpaths, Hitboxes etc.) Which can only be fixed with a HODer, which the guy that was doing that seems to have just disappeared. That and the fact is, not many people in this community seem to really know how to HOD all that much since a lot of the tools needed are very expensive to get. Then the person would have to learn and that would take time.
cant you borrow one from another mod team... then when this mod is don then you can lend them some of your expertise in return
Well you also have to consider that other mods need their hodders at the current moment as most of the mods are still getting more versions and adding changes as each release goes out. Its a possibility, though I dont really know if much can be done since all the hodding is done on the persons free time.
