This Is Not Pron

Catchy title, eh?

Anyway, this is starting to get old, so I'm surprised nobody has posted it yet. Its one of those cool internet puzzles, and gets harder and harder with each level (almost to the point of "devote your life to this next question or you won't get it".

Now, here's the catch - because it's been floating about for a little while, many of the answers are on the web if you do a google search. It can spoil your fun if you stumble over the answer somewhere when all you were looking for was clues.

Anyway, without further ado:

Anyway, I stopped at level 4, remember the 99 rooms thing, with the slashing freak. Upon remembering, every muscle in my body tightened as much as possible, as it did when the freak showed up. :shivers:

I hate these types of games...they always freak me out. I never shake the feeling something's going to leap out, like in that one flash thing where you have to find the angel in the room, and you just stare at it, and then that hideous shrieking demon-child pops up...my French teacher showed that to us. The entire class had their faces on the monitor, and then the thing shrieked, and everyone leapt back screaming. I knew it was coming, though, and avoided getting crushed.

You might DL the screen and raise contrast/gamma(lighten the darkness?) in photoshop(external tool?). Since I don't have said shop I can't tell if thats the solution.
btw, Did anyone else notice the strange markings on top of the side of the drawer?

It says "an ALTernative", so I changed the "nothing" in the URL to "everything", then got a message "thats the wrong alternative". When I changed "hesgoteverything" to "hesgotnothing", I got another password screen, that one with a message "beautiful life". Weird...

edit: now on no.7, and going to bed. Hint for No. 6 here:

I did the same thing. I still don't have the slightest clue what the answer means, nor how we were supposed to get it.

My Mistakes

Naturally, I tried every notable german newspaper (Times, get it?) I could find. The largest, the oldest, the guy who shared a name with the town the oldest newspaper was printed in, etc. Nothing.

"raider." Where the hell did that come from?

Problem is, there's too much misinformation for the answers to "feel" right. In any good riddle, knowing the answer should cause every clue to make sense. You should slap your forehead and groan. But here there's 5 different directions the clues lead you in. I'm not saying it isn't fair, just that it doesn't feel riddly enough.
