    Our hosts requests us to keep our forums updated. Once it is out of date 12 hours later the site is offline. No idea why this hppened again- I had the forums up to date.

    Anyway it wasn´t offline more than a few hours I guess.

    They set that bar a long time ago. IMO the only mod that could hold a candle to this would be the Steel Legion Mod unless teh Demonhunters mod pulls a rabbit outta their collective hat.

    if you don't mind i would like to give you an advice: Add self shadows to the texture (or use max texture baking). could give the model a less card-building touch..

    Please don't take as critic..i only want to help...

    oh and some breaks on the edges of the stone or some cracks would make it master...

    That's not even leet speak, that's just a lack of even the most basic writing skills .

    As for your question, yes, you'll be able to play it against someone else over the net, as long as that person also has the mod installed. Good times ahead... Keep on trucking!

    WOW those 1K sons rock n roll, I just want to say that you made a very good Job men.

    by the way I was wondering since the Khorne bersekers are out now as unit for the normal chaos marines, wy not do the same twith the 1k sons? just give em the stats as terminators, you know they are tuff and heavy fire, and they are not very fast.

    The thousand sons are my Fav race and I will say you have made a Beautiful job, I am currently studying graphics and as soon as I finish my career I can help you on doing this mod.

    Wow this looks amazing! I'm a total sucker for mods with models as, you know, it's just easier to see how well a mod's coming along that way. If it's imbalanced I'll skirmish it for laffs.

    sry to sound noob (though I am ), but when do you guys think you'll be able to release a beta of this? or is there one already out and I've missed it? I would've surfed through the pages......then I realized theres 40+ of em. anyways this sounds like a fun mod.

    There won´t be a beta except for semi-internal testing. You will be able to download a great mod with customly built models, professional voice acting and music and more when we are all done. Hopefully before or around the time the official expansion is released.

    mitgas, tottim: i see diffrences in the gun in both does pics, wich one is the most recent? since one he holds a bolter with a jaw the other looks like a plain bolter? did you drop the dragon looking bolter or is it still in?

    PS will you add more things to the mod after the NEW fetures are added with the expansion or will you keep the sons original only?

    that birdhead on the gun(that looks more like a turtle head due to the model having a too big lower jaw -> will be fixed once I feel like doing it and then sending it to Rough who then has to replace it to get it into the game....boring for me and him ) is the upgraded version of the boltpistol. You start with the normal one and get the better one once you upgrade your weapons.

    yea MrD, nothing to apologize about. I wouldn't mind waiting awhile if it'll improve the quality of the mod. I've seen some of the models you guys have made yourselves, and I must say I am quite impressed (that Lord of Change is amazing). I just can't believe anyone would have the energy to make something like this, anyways take your time guys.

    Currently it creates area damage but the mod isn't tested at all and the gameplay changed quite a bit to make them more different from Vanilla Chaos than it was before. So how it will be in the end isn't really decided yet.

    We'll try to stick as much to the Thousand Sons rules as possible and port them into DoW but some things are not possible and others over/underpowered so they have to get tweaked.

    well I am Really impressed of wat have you guys done so far however personally I really dont like much the shoulder patch sign on the 1K Sons marine but I find no problem with that since we will be able to change it anyways.

    Wy not test the normal 1k Marines with the uncoming of the Winter assoult expancion? you know you could put them there as a HVY fire option or something, just as the Khorne Berkserkers will fulfill the close combat role.

    those look like theyre the same in every pic...
