3DS Max Question...plz help me !!!

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to render a model in 3DS MAX but in the render the model would have a shadow, heres and example below. Look at the weapon, its has a shadow if it is lying down on something,



This is not my model, its a model from some mod for farcry
Please help me, all help will be very appriciated

I use max and I believe to get shadows like that you are after a plugin. Im sure someone will be able to recommend a good plugin soon enough for you.

nope add a skylight to your scene, its with the other types of light, then go into the rendering dropdown menu - into advanced lighting - tick apply at the top turn off sub sampling at the bottom - render as usual - it will take slightly longer.
