I think this thread belongs in this forum, since I'm looking for a replay rather than posting one. My apologies if I was wrong. Anyway...

I've always wanted to see those special kill animations featuring the Avatar and Bloodthirster. I've seen a few animated GIFs featuring them (in the screenshot thread), and they looked really cool. Now, I'd like to see them in higher resolution, as they were meant to be seen. I've tried letting AI Chaos players survive for long periods of time, but they never seem to build Bloodthirsters unless they're winning (at which point its rather hard for me to actually kill the 'Thirster). So, I decided to try finding a recorded game instead.

Please post if you have a recorded game that includes any of the following animations:

Avatar kills Bloodthirster

Force Commander kills Avatar

Librarian kills Avatar
Librarian kills Bloodthirster
Chaos Lord kills Avatar

It doesn't really matter to me if the recorded game was pre-arranged to make the animation(s) happen, or if it happened spontaneously during a long match, though I suppose spontaneous occurances would be more interesting.

I had one where an avatar is killed by a Bloodthirster... but the replay is out of sync for some strange reason...

You can see it on the credits too, only in my replay the bt cuts down the whole torso and not just the head.

And I can remember my lib taking out an avatar... really nice... He (the lib) gets pounded into the ground while the avatar gets near preparing to deal the final strike, then he suddnly releases a psychich wave that blasts the whole avatar

i also want to see these animations. i think ive had a bt kill an avatar or vise verca before but i was watching a different part of the battle when it happened.....silly me

I have one with a CS killing an Avatar but it's pre-patch so you can't watch it due to sync-error

What commander units can also do the special thingys?! cool! I think I'll have to do some pre arranged matchs now.

i bet farseer, warboss and big mek have some interesting kill animations

unique synch kills from the .lua files

FC kill BloodThirster (invulnerable 17.7 seconds)

CL kill BloodThirster (invulnerable 17.7 seconds)

Librarian kill Avatar (invulnerable 9 seconds)

CS kill Avatar (invulnerable 9 seconds)

(wonder if these pairs are the same animations)

Avatar kill Bloodthirster (invulnerable 10 seconds)

Bloodthirster kill Avatar (invulnerable 5.7 seconds)

that's it. i might get around to doing a quickstart replay of these things. i really want to see them as well.

Yea Aetherfox, the CS and the Lib. killing an Avatar have the same animations and I would guess that the CL and FC killing a BT have the same too...
