I have a commision for you art types, cards of the buff hw player series would seriously own, if you can't find those then a buffmolle one would do (I imagine pr0nmolle would be too much for mortal eyes)

    Kushan Deck Finished [Almost]

I have [almost] completed the Kushan Deck! I'm new to Photoshop so they - well, can't compare to some of the random cards I just saw. This unfinished deck is just the rough copy of the cards. I'm also making a chess-like trading card game for Homeworld so cards can move.

Click on the link below to download it.

    Download ME!

I'm just spreading it so I don't want two independent ideas going off at the same time. The Taiidan deck templates are much better than the Kushan templates. They'll be released soon.

MEANWHILE: Feast your eyes on this:

NOTE: I was on this project even before Ionfish formulated his idea! [Two Months Ago] < - No signs of competition. If we are to do this trading card game, we must do it TOGETHER!

I gotta come here often. As you can see, I'm a part of the Freespace universe. (See Aelous on Avatar). Well, from the looks of it, this thread has changed from a competition to a race in making cards regarding Relic Staff in - strange positions.

If we want to make this trading card game, we must be UNIFIED and STABLE. We cannot - I repeat - CANNOT do this independently. That's why I'm here to offer whatever I may have and try to assist you guys in any way possible. (I'm doing this for my son so he can have SOMETHING on his college application. )

By the way, here's another card:

i like the idea of a proper homeworld card game, but you'd have to decide all sorts of gubbins from the outset on paper, not just launch into making cards.

The card designs would have to be pretty 1337 and a standard format to start with, too...

I got the standard format down. Each race has a standard card format. (Still stuck on the format for Kushan, though) I will pump out a STANDARD rule book for the game soon. And I'll have you guys take a look at it and hopefully give me some criticism.

There's a collegue of mine at the Freespace Universe at Hard Light Productions codenamed Anazalon. He is proficient with C++ and wants to make a computer game out from the cards I'm making, if he can get the go-ahead from Sierra and Relic.

If the board game gets big enough they might turn it into...oh i dunno... something cool like a 3D Real-Time strategy game.

"Homeworld" sounds like a catchy kinda name.

I doubt it'll ever catch on though... even the mere THOUGHT of trying to control a 3D camera with just your mouse is too much for mere mortals (and my sister) to comprehend.

Doomed to failure. Stick with 2D games like Dune 2 and Red Alert, i say. *tsk* 3D strategy? har! preposterous!

The Homeworld Trading Card game WILL (in my idea) be a board game similar to chess. Again, the rulebook will be released later. We COULD use a website somewhere.

By the way, I'm complete with the Turanic Raiders Booster Pack. Some of the ships are posted below.

I want a pet tasmanian tiger. (That would run for what...$5 billion?) 'Tis a schnazzy looking animule. So I suppose until then the alter-ego Tygre is a tasmanian tiger...the siberian is too overused.

I just had to use those Ed heads in something.

How can you aussies go outside without cracking up? Between wombats, wallabies, and echidnas I'd never stop laughing...
