    Inside building stops upgrades/reinforcements bug

I noticed that when (as Orc) I put a squad that was reinforcing or upgrading weapons in a building it stops doing it. A similar squad I had on the outside was way far ahead when I pulled the first one out again.

I noticed the same for space marines in rhinos or land raiders.

    Bye.

This is well known and not a bug - units inside transports or buildings will not reinforce (although I believe that they will still heal). Although it isnt a bug it would be nice if they'd change it...I dont think it would have a huge impact on balance (but then maybe it would...chase a couple of orks into their fort, get shot up by its guns and then a new squad is built and the orks that ran in hiding have reinforced to some huge number).

I also sometimes had ovewatch canceled too altogether. So when the unit got out I had to click it again.

if true then that would be a bug. See if you can reproduce it.

It wouldn't affect balance at all since hardly anyone is using enterable buildings or vehicles outside their main base. Changing the mechanism to continue reinforcing and healing when inside a building would give DoW what it is missing. Besides Orks, there is little to no difference at all where a battle takes place. This would at least a bit change that as I think fighting in one's own base should give him some advantage over normal ground.

Your situation would actually be quite realistic. The squad in hiding is "resupplying" itself from equipment available in that building.

Seems a fine idea to me Esrhan. I also think the overwatch button should not be disabled when you have maxed a squad or heavy weapons. It should still be glowing and replace any losses until YOU turn it off yourself. I get bored having to go over my squads and replace losses everytime. With orks it's slightly better since I don't reinforce, but still...

komninosm: that was very much a design decision...they decided that it was best that overwatch turned itself off after the squad maxed out in order to stop your resources being drained at a later point when troops start dying.

But you can always pause or cancel overwatch if it gets to that. I'd like an option like for attack move right click default, but I guess I can live with what we got :-p

TBS I tested it and I had the overwatch cancel on entering a building. Don't know if it does it everytime though. Seems weird and fishy.
