What are you all using the play the files? Windows Media Player 11 won't play any of the files from the first torrent except the ones named in the "homeworld-##" format.

Edit: Nevermind.

Oh, and yeah... "homeworld-12" is missing from the "Homeworld 1 Soundtrack" torrent.

now all that remains for me is the Homeworld: Cataclysm music tracks. no such luck finding them. =''(

I found a site last month that had the music.
The quality is not really great, still can hear slight "bubbles" in the background

I'm working ont the Cata OST (more like Extracted SoundTrack, but oh well), and should have it mid-april (15th)...update soon.

@ General Public: I have seen countless threads asking for the music, and am willing to create a definitive guide to self extraction (wowie that sound weird), and willing to compile a complete 3 game soundtrack if it will be appreciated.

As soon as I get my laptop online, I will be seeding whenever it's on.

Sorry for the double post and thread-necromancy, but I wanted to suggest doing a second version of the HW and HW2 torrent OSTs. I know that sore files are missing, and the tags are way off, but it way not be worth it at this point. Ideas?

Is there any possibility that these could be uploaded in FLAC format? I simply MUST have this Yes "Homeworld" song in a lossless codec along with the tracks from HW2. I got the GOTY Edition but am one of those who ordered from Amazon and they never sent us and refused to send us the OST or take the game back for a different copy.

I give thanks to all of the work that has gone into this archiving, and I apologize if I am asking for too much.

If someone does post a FLAC torrent for the soundtracks I will seed them indefinitely.

I am still a Very Active fan of Homeworld1 and enjoy the online gaming aspect regularly. But I found much info on the things like music were hard to find and put together (its hard looking at 3 seperate webpages to learn "how to" make a map w/ MissionMan ) . . . . SO . . . .
I was 'forced' to try and put all the info into 1 place.

Ok all, this may help you or may not - just trying to help out!

I have posted ALL the music from Homeworld in downloadable (mp3) formats - all the tools used and even "How To" replace the Homeworld music w/ your own.
I have also decoded ALL 5199 voices from the Homeworld 1 game (LOL - it took some time ) and put them in folders for easy dl (for slower conns).
