Can't host games. Possible IP problems.

It seems I can't host games for some reason. It's also hard to join certain games as well.

Isn't there a certain problem with DoW and conflicting with IP of a router and the actual IP of the computer?

My comp is at my college and they a certain set up with their firewall and router. So I can't change that.

But if there is a work around that people know about I would be willing to try that.

If your college has you behind a firewall that's not friendly to the Gamespy range of ports, then you are out of luck except for LAN games.

Perhaps, but I can join games online. The problem is that I can't host them. Is there a way to find out what ports. That Gamespy uses for host DoW games and then check for what ports my school has blocked.

I want to make sure that the problem is my school's firewall before I give up on fixing it.

Read the readme.txt, it has the ports in it.

Oh yes. I should have remembered that.

You wouldn't happen to know a good way to for me to test individual ports to see if they are blocked or not?
