    Indead I use WinRAR and had no problems with the archive.

    I confess I never realy liked the look of the Qwaar-Jet in HW1, I always prefered the look of the destroyer. :hide:

    However both these ships look fantastic and everyone should download them and give them a go.

    You've certainly put a lot more effort into these than I have with my Turanic Dreadnaught (and they trear two of them appart just as should be expected).

    Seeing these in action in HW2 kind of makes me want to go back a remake my Jaguar light cruiser as well.

    It is one of the best taiidani cruisers ive seen . Norsehound is pretty good to. if this ones old, i would hate to see a new one!!

    THIS IS SO AWESOME! I was admiring your impressive work yesterday, scouring the internet for a Requiem War download site, mostly just so I could get these sweet Taiidan ships. Kudos aplenty for generously offering them in spite of the mod being dead!!!

    right click on the link as select "Save Target As..." you also need winRar to extract it. that might be the problem...

    EDIT:
    Oh. and btw, if anyone is interested in these ships in HW or HWC format, let me know. i am working on converting them right now... (hopefully thats ok...)

    I' had downloaded this "Taiidani Cruisers Minimod" a long time ago and i alwaous thougt those two monsters were great
    But recently i saw that you Ent-E had been able to add them in single player...
    How did you do that? And might it be possible to make them part of the construction list? ^^

    During that time i've been through the "Modding tutorial for Newbies" on the Tanis Shipyard general board, and i've managed to add them into the Hiigarans build list... I'm gonna try if that works immediately

    EDIT: Aaaaargh fuck, it keeps crashing... :/ Dunno what's wrong

    OK, two errors pop out. One of them is the fatal exit that's causing the crash.

    LUA 'data:Ship\HGN_MOTHERSHIP\HGN_MOTHERSHIP.madState' -- parameter: `=' expected;
    last token read: `<eof>' at line 6 in string ""
    MadStateStatic: Error: Could not load (data:Ship\HGN_PROBE\HGN_PROBE.madState) -- FATAL EXIT --
    Looks like there's a problem in the hgn_mothership madstate, around line six.

    That could be causing the crash, as the reader times out long after the game times out cause the next file to be read to become unload-able. Or there is a missing madstate . . . Which would be the hgn_probe's madestate.

    Maybe would it help if i told you how i did to add the ships in the Hiigaran's build list?

    EDIT: Ah, forget about it
    Modifying build.lua directly in the mod's directories works better than i did originally (before, i dunno why i was locked on the idea to pour thoses directories with overwriting into the directories obtained bay decompression Homeworld2.big -_-')

    Anyway, though the game doesn't crash anymore, the Taiidani Cruisers aren't included into Hiiggies build list :/

    The instructions Ghostwind gave were to add the ships into the second mission of the campaign. If you want to add them into the build lists, I suggest you read the modding tutorials on the main sub-form. Specifically the "Making the keepers a playable race" tutorial.

    *Sigh* I should be home from work by 3pm Pacific. I'll copy and past my build tree here for you. I actually put them in as there own race, with the Turanic dreadnought (I've added some anti fighter guns to it) and a couple other ships I was looking at.

    If your not getting a cash, you might have used display number that's already in use with some that has a higher display priority, thus hiding the ship.

    Now you've said it, i assigned the Vanaar-Jet to the same DisplayPririty number as the Hiig resource collector, so that might explain a part of the problem...
    However, the QJ-II was assigned to a number that wasn't taken, and wasn't displayed either... :/

    EDIT: To be sure we're on the same wavelenth, my idea was to add VJ and QJII to the Hiiggies build tree

    Ok, heres the code from my build file. As I'd said, I'd added them as there own race into my copy of HW2. So, you'll just have to cange the tai_ part to whatever there set at for you. The DisplayPriority #'s should work fine

    QJII and VJ still refuse tu appear in the build list ><'

    /me thinks this thing's gonne drive him mad :@

    To give you an indication, i just decompressed the Cruisers minimod in the Data directory ('till here, nothing complicated), and then, in the 'build and research' directory on 'scripts' i added the 'hiigaran' folder taken from the stock game, and from that i had modified build.lua

    Hello, I wanted to ask how you install this mod? I've unzipped the files and put them all into the data folder. However I don't see the Tiidan in the player vs CPU race selection, and whenever I put the cruiser codes into the LUA file for the single player game, the game will not start, it simply crashes closed. Was there a step I missed?

    I stuck the Tai cruisers into the Pirate mod.
    Added the text that the Taidaani 'left it laying around'.
    And then I sent it after the local shipping.
    Capture?
    What is this 'capture' you speak of?
    A battle line of battleships (2) and cruisers (4) makes the shipping lanes fun.

    hi scene.........i want to change my Blue LED Mod from its default location on the Controller Board........... to a new location , extend it with wires and place the LED on the right side of the GC close to the grill........not on the Fan side people.my question is , is it safe ?.......or extending with wires is a bad idea and unsafe ?.........any input is cools8n

    ok i have dumb ? i have tried repeatedly to get to bin and profiles but none of that shows up for me am i suppose to unpack the big file first for whole thing because i dont even see ascencion or anything else but badges and that is it and im using win 7 i been trying figure out what ive done wrong
