Those screenshots in the PCGAMER, the ones you are all like, they are old, they can only get better, well, they won't. That is what the game is going to be like, with MORE ships. Not newer ones. That interface and those graphics, thats it. Sorry to burst your bubbles.

I see. Perhaps you can provide us with the source of your prescience? Or must we simply take this on trust?
From working on other games, one gains trust and friends in other games. (for the lay, Because i worked on other games, i got friends in the develpment (well really the graphic develpment cause thats what i do) of relic, and more importantly the graphics side). Mind you, i know nothing else about the info on the game.

Anyone remember the first screenies from the original HW. They sucked, almost stopped me from buying the game. Got the demo, ran 3DAccel, and lo and behold, it was awesome. The pictures in PC gamer might just be the lowest end possible pictures, and I have no doubt that the game will look a lot better. (Even if it doesn't, it'll still be good.
Graphics ain't what I'm after. Frankly, slightly improved ones on HW1 would be fine. I care about GAMEPLAY.
No one honestly thinks relic would put out its best work with the game still in development..I mean sheesh...I would trust Ubers word any day than Colt(dolt) ....(yes flame me for er....flamin)

First you spill all the beans to Evil Avatar about HW2 being canned to give him a scoop for his site, then you carelessly BLABBER all the new release dates to Red 94 from HWU and now your designers feel they have free license to open their big mouths and YABBER ON to some 18 year old salesman from Chicago, just caus he's best buds with them and hangs out every time he makes it up to Canada.
And we're not even allowed to post a few little pics for the real fans to look at - SHAME ON YOU. My bubble has been burst for the last time...
