    Quick, simple modding question.

    Hi all,
I recently downloaded the Deamonhunters 7.5 mod (which is excellent by the way) adter following it for some time.

However, I am a big Space Marine player and I don't like the fact that I can't use my own chapters and colour schemes. I do, however, love the Grey Knights.

What I was wondering was, what files would I need to put where to make the Grey Knights a trainable unit from the Chapel Barraks in the normal (uses normal shotcut) game?

Surely this can't be too hard. It would be for personal use and I do still play the mod.

    Help anyone?

    Thanks

    bump

    anyone?

I think the grey knights, being grey knights' should look the same no matter what...however...there are plenty of imperal guard units. Perhaps any colour changes/badges/banners should only affect those units...

ok... I'm not really sure what question you were answering...

I said I didn't like how the SPACE MARINES lost their chapter colours, not the grey knights (and yes I know they are a type of space marine)

I just would like to know how to make grey knights recruitable in the space marines barracks please.

To have them recruited from the barracks is not really difficult, but the chapter colour problem will still be here.
You'd need to hex edit the model files and some luas to get rid of this problem...
So this is not a so simple task (otherwise the Daemon Hunters team would already have done it).

I like the new avatar Comp. Nice! Sorry to butt in Curtis. I think we are saying that you'll have to learn to mod to get the Grey Knights into a separate Mod of your own, but I do know what you mean, it would be nice to see them in the standard game, but I wouldn't recommend putting them in the w40k folder if that's what you are thinking of. It's always much safer to work in your own My_Mod folder in case anything goes wrong. Have a go, it's fun but highly addictive.
