Wikipedia has Johnny Depp and Kiera Knightley cast as their characters in Pirates of the Carribean, but the trailer isn't giving that up, it seems

The forum that's linked to worries me.
And once again, KH is a vehicle for Disney's evil brainwashing programs. Or at least it staunches the bleeding from their otherwise decrepit franchise.

It looks just as shallow and pointless as the original. Except possibly less annoying Disney characters, (Oh how indescribable my hatred of Goofy and Donald and Mickey truly is,) though it still looks like you get shafted and stuck with Donald and Goofy. -_-;
But they had a trailer of KH2 out years ago, didn't they? It was hidden in the first game.

I might have liked it more if I wasn't forced to have two uncharismatic bumbling idiots as my only allies.
I would have preferred to go it solo rather than take them with me, even if it meant that I would lose 90% more often.

I, too, had a friend who was obsessed with the original. He bantered on about it for months upon months on end, and would likely continue to do so if he was still my friend.
His obsession added into the dull creation has turned me into a bitter man when it comes to KH.
How sad...

I just dont like japanese attempts at RPG's, they suck... or east asian in general i mean, i just like more atmospheric dark RPG's, something where you actually feel your doing something to acheive a required goal, i always felt east asian RPG's were just too lovey fluffy lala.
Basicly ide rather be an elf then a (hair)gelf, and ide rather the game world had more character to it then, oh-no, a mean monster disturbs our happy ladida kindom of wuv, GOGO POWER HAIRGEL! DUNDUNDUN DUN DUN DUNDUN!.
I like drunken dwarves and bar-keeps only a mother could love, i like those silly little halflings that you always end up teamed with who turn out to be the strongest player on your team, i like the way my elf dude can shoot off 3 arrows in one attack cycle and stop dead any monster comming towards us...i like the way you know the female human/elf character is sooo a dude...lol.
The characters are truly annoying, but the first game was good I thought. And I agree with Nurizeko, Japanese RPG makers can't write a story to save their lives.

to be fair, the game mechanics in the first game were a bit borderline lame, and some of the level designs were WAY too small. Agrabah was only included the marketplace and the palace entrance. although it was redeemed with the Cave of wonders, making a town this small is just plain inexcusable.
still, what kept me playing was the cheer fanboi-ishness of it all: Hercules rescues Cloud, Squall and Yuffie are partners, The beast faces off against that witch from snow white. It's a fanfic lover's dream come true! And it's done with such high production values, too: a lot of the actors in the original movies or series reprised their role for this, as well as the sequel. Not to mention that the attention to the lip synching, as well as some of the animation matches the same care given to Disney feature-length productions.
There's plenty to hate, yes, but there's a lot more to love, too.

I was dissapointed that Kingdom Hearts 1 didn't have PIXAR Characters. It would seriously OWN if they got in.)
Let's hope they do in the sequel.
