Anyone bought one or built one?
Anyone bought one or built one?
Hell no. Waaaaayyyyyy to expensive, its toxic, and the resin can get warped. FW models are pretty cool, there just uber overpriced.
And a link to the titan-thingey(s)= http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/cgi-loca...dTYR_2dT_2d007
So why do you want to get a baneblade then?
Xfire: omgreaveristaken
GFWL: Walrustuskk
Steam: reaver117
Add em up, don't be shy =]
One would have to assume

That thing is amazing and nah i dont know anyone who has one , but i know someone who has a Chaos Titan! and thats massive ( i just cant beat it )

Titans basically beats anything on the table unless you use a Titan against it too or have soe huge weapon that can hurt it.
yeah there are some anti titan weapons i believe but only on larger tanks.
Anyone actually come up with a way to build one?
#10
Build what? A weapon to destroy Titans? Erm...I think there are already.

Yub yub! Was wondering what was the name of that tank when you posted it before I could find the name of that super heavy tank.
Anyway, in my opinion, Titans seriously unbalance the game. Besides, ain't Warhammer 40,00 supposed to be about armies made of large groups of infantry and vehicles and walkers clashing like crazy instead of fielding one all-powerful unit and vapourising every single small unit on the table? They end the game too fast.
Smaller is better! Besides, seeing your opponent throw a Titan onto the table has a sort of demoralising effect, don't you think?
"Squad broken!"
no i ment if anyone know of how you could scratch build one.
I've seen a few online - might be worth a google search.
Usually, they're made out of a light wood, or some kind of easily workable plastic.
OMG. That base is HUGE. You could have like, an entire IG army surrounding its base attacking in CC, and still have extra space for a small SM strike force.

That's a Ork Gargant. There are Orky things running around the base of it.![]()

Its still technically a titan...
That titan is amazing , i wouldnt mind owning one of them myself anyway ive agreed with my friend that he is not to use his titan anymore for un-beatable reasons

Zippy...which one?
My friend has all the ones up to the Heriophant.
Which he will be buying at GamesDay Chicago when he visits me. I'll let him (most likely make him) post on my account about his experiences with his titans (and post pics too!)
Also he has the three from armorcast. Those aren't as impressive though.
500 Days...
lmao that orc titan custom is a box with toilet roll. :smash:
yeah the big one, 4 legged. I was thinking if you could get 4 spikes you could easily make using card the cara layers, it'd be the only prob with head detail
I was thinking at the price it costs to buy, you could whip it up in CAD and send it off for a 1 run in resion and lasers![]()

2 easy for orcs to custom make stuff, it's boxed with plates and a few claws or 2.
I'll have a go at a hierophant, be funny to see what i come up with.
zippy: Look at my Heirophant Titan!
*Shows us a shoe box with four toilet rolls strapped to the side, a Carnifex head on the front and two venom cannons glued onto the top. The 'Heirophant' is painted all over in Blood Red*
zippy: Isn't it good?!
Hehehehe

a stole![]()
I actually just played against one of those bio titans during an uber points bugstomp a few weeks back. IMO it sucks. The thing took out one tank and all the gargoyles it dropped got wasted by a leman russ with flamers right away. Yeah it's nigh impossible to kill with needing 6s to hit and the mass points but...not worth 760 pts especially when in a bug army that will buy ALOT of nids. If you're playing a game large enought to field on of them chances are it is just not going to do enough damage to make it worthwhile. I'd say somthing like a Great Gargant or even a Reaver titan would be alot better. Now, the exocrine and the malefactor are awesome to have in a nid army. Nothing like a super fast transport with 5 wounds to carry a whole brood of stealers into combat. Yikes!

I forget how...But with MDR you can have a lot more wounds to transport, which means you can stick carnifexes (carnifi?) in there! Mwahahaha...haha...ha
wrong titan i'm talking about the hierophant here the 2ft tall model
Aye, the one made by Forgeworld.
