    I disagree, Kou. If you're a human trying to destroy the sun with your bare fists, you will not win, no matter how much "skill" you have. And to go with Gaizokubanou's point, so fine, somehow the guy with the 1000 hp units can beat the guy who has the super cheap unit. If both sides have the SAME AMOUNT OF SKILL, no matter what, the guy with the "40000 health with 1000000 damage attack with rate of fire of 900 rounds per minute with 1 ru cost" will win, no matter what. THAT is game imbalance.

    However, if both sides have massive mobile armors that deal huge amounts of damage, then it's balanced, even if the poor MS's and capital ships get fried in the firefight ^_^Y. I guess the Bigro at least will be cool to have... but the Neue Ziel... the Neue Ziel!! "It's like the spirit of Zeon taken form!" (paraphrase, obviously)

    Oh, and btw, Magellans suck ass.

    ak says that hel post the latest soon, real soon or somethen like that, my bet its in the next week or two. any way im just happy that hes worken hard on it. im a fanatic this forum is really my homepage when i go on line and i havent ben playing many other games alot due to my obsestion about this mod, really i havent played any other games for the past week----- well month..... but thats ok it will all be worth it at the final release of this mod............so crazy, so awake, siting in wait

    Nan man, the downloading is slow is due to it's Chinese Server man.

    All Taiwan, Japan, South Korea servers works well man.

    Even people from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea having problems downoading from Chinese server man.

    I would like to second the request for a link to d/l the complete v2.2 mod.

    I downloaded the v1.0 feddie mod from Fileshack along with the 2.0 Zeon mod, but each time I try to load up a 1p v cpu battle the game crashes while it's loading.

    I'm just starting to watch ZZ Gundam, and seeing all those Neo Zeon battleships and Zakus flying around while not being able to play is torture!

    But seriously, this mod is way better lets hope lot of goods are added in next version, we saw MA, we saw GMs with beam weapons, AI is almost done if im not mistaken. Only think needed is more variety of Units while not increasing the amount we have now, just take aout a few zakus and add a kampfer :P, use "balls" instead the normal resource collectors, and boila! best HW2 Mod ever

    How about Balls are resourse collectors on the Federaion side, and there mobile refinery is the supply ships as like in 0083 stardust memory.

    As for Zeon, they could use a construction Zaku as their resource collector. I remmeber seeing it a loong time ago in a gundam series.... I forget which... it was all yellow with a thing on its arm. Maybe using something like that disquised cargo ship Cima Garahau used to get into Anaheim Electronics?

    It would be nice if they added the Tivvay class cruisers like the Graf Zeplin, or the Axis fleets Gwanban class cruisers... ah well.

    At least I can geek out about this mod

    The EFSF carrier model isn't... right. I think it's supposed to be a Salamis-class... it isn't. I hope that get's fixed.

    And why is it that the EFSF can build additional pegasus-class warships but the Zeon only get the one Gwazine?

    ~also~ This mod really, really, really needs some MS-013 Kampfers.

    I say we make a sub mod of this that balances it out with the Hiigaran and Vaygr fleets. That way we can have an awesome crossover war. Federation forces defending Earth from the Vaygr invasion!

    I just had an idea for mobile suit melee combat, however there are no models that have melee weapons to test it with. But it should work.

    my idea is this:
    - a beam saber could be represented by a laser beam that exits the beam saber hilt (like how those vaygr laser beams look but shorter obviously, just imagine a red short ranged ion cannon )
    - if you give the weapon a low range (range 10) it would look like the beam saber is activated only when the mobile suit gets within range to do a melee attack (it would look like a laser being shot out of the hilt of the weapon but it would remain on as long as it attacks, like how an ion cannon stays 'on' while attacking and then moves over a ship and shuts off)
    - if the MS flies out of weapons range it displays no beam graphic (makes sense that it powers it's saber down if it flies out of range, the unit could then use it's vulcan cannon instead or a beam weapon)
    - with a simple MS attack animation it could look very cool, like lunging forward (when in melee range) with it's beam saber hilt, the beam weapon activates, flies out range and returns to normal ranged fighting stance

    Zaku axes could have a kinetic weapon file attached with range '1' to the blade of the axe, however I'm not sure if they would ever be able to close in on a unit to actually use it.
    The beam saber where the sabers beam is an actual weapon file would probably work a lot better.

    I restart the singleplayer campaign and play up to mission 2 than edit the persist2.lua file and the gp01 flies out of the mothership at the start of mission 2

    I downloaded the mod from homeworld access website and I have the bin in the release folder and the GUNDAM_MOD2.2 folder in my C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2 folder. The bin file runs the game but when I go into Player Vs CPU there is no mod. Can someone help me fix this or did I do someting wrong?

    Birmingham is EFSF_dreadnaught

    GUNDAM_MOD2.2.tzj should be in C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Data folder

    Beautiful! And I don't even watch Gundam!

    Those mech's with the turning heads and the hands and thrusters....mmmm....

    No AI sorta sucks though, as does some of the stock ships to be replaced.
