I have never installed a mod (well manually) and from what I have been reading I believe that I am doing everything right. I have that GUNDAM_MOD2.2.TZJ in the data folder and the first page, says I am suppose to have that GUNDAM_MOD2.2.bat in the bin folder and that I am suppose to click on that to play the game, but it doesn't do much, but when I start the game using the HW2.exe the opening has gundam in it but when I play try to play VS the comp, the mod is not showing. Is there something I missed?
ya you have everything right that i can see and there shouldnt be eneything wrong. were did you download it from? and you say its in the player vs CPU the mod dosnt show, hmmmm click on the race drop down button and see if the fedys are a chooseable race. it could just be there is no background, but im going from the last time iv played it, my cpu fried and i lost everything, so its ben a while since iv ben playing :skull:
soo ya see if the fedys are a race to choose, if not im out of ideas.
When you click on the bat file you put in the bin folder wait for hw2 to load. It should play just fine....
When I click on the batch file the dos window pops up for a split second and it says something (I can't tell what it says because it is just a flash basicly) and the game never loads.
Edit:Well I figured out what it says I believe. I believe it says after the Homeworld/Sierra stuff, it says "not recognized as an interal or external command or batch file"
Is your gundam batch file in this folder C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release folder?
I wonder how many mobile armors are going to be added. I'd like to see the Elemeth and Zakarello. But I think the federation needs more units, such as the standarad GM, or a Guntank. And the Federation needs better moddeling. Those gundams look like shit. Except the Gpo1-Fb and the Gpo2a. Plus you need to make race specific reasource collectors. I suggest the ball K type for federation and Worker Zaku 1's for Zeon.
Hm... Elmeth would likely be too hard to model, what with all the bits. Granted, I'd be ectstatic if there were a Zeong or Zeong Perfect added... but it probably won't happen.
Unless there's a way to incorporate different "pilots" in the game, NT units would be kind of stupid... because a newtype in a Zaku easily owns a regular pilot in a gundam.
Thanx Sprrol, that worked, I put it in the realease folder and it worked and it played beautifully .
Edit:Ok now the computer won't do anything, it won't build or anything. It just sits there and tries to run away when I attack it.

Pay more attention to the thread. They have no A.I. script yet. It will be included in the next realease.
I did read it, I thought the person met that it the AI was there but not complete (so it would be a stupid opponent) until it was finished.

Powered GMs are fine, but the Dendrobium in this would be kind of hard. First of all, balancing that thing would be a major pain. And most importantly, trying to figure out a way to make two seoerate entities work as one, with complete docking paths and collision meshes would drive coders insane.Originally Posted by death25

It's like I said. I think the fettys are lacking units. They need a few big punch units like the zeon have.

Both races have great units, each one at their way, big cap ships or little fast heavy hornets, although, its not the size, its how u use it looooooooooool

i love the Birmingham, i personally would like to see its AA guns turned into reall bullets like wut pds uses for its AAs, non of the laser crap.... and same for the main cannons turn them into a diffrent type of cannon more beam cannon with out the sound of it charging up and it more pinky perple darkish color. if this is all possible.
The main cannons on a salamis shoot pink beam cannons. The secondary anti fighter cannons shoot bullets. The salamis needs tweaked. It needs to fire missles more often. The fettys abused the missles during the OYW. If there was something in front of them they blew it up with missles. Also their beams are not constant. The Zeons Musai class beams are. But the megellans and Salamis class shoot like lancers. Only bigger beams.
if u put the gp03 in, shouldnt u put in neue ziel balance it out? I mean, theyre both very powerfull MA's, shouldnt that balance things out?
But Kou, Zeon already has a MA, so, if U introduce one MA, imbalance comes again, but it cannot be helped, EFSF power comes from numbers, so maybe the best way to balance the thing is to make cheaper its units so their only hope is to swarm Zeon units or save money to research and build the dendrobium.
By the way, I like the idea of making beam cannons, lancer cannons, it can be just too cool lol
Well if u could change the FEDS build time and price I think the game should balance pretty nicely. The only problem then though would be the same problem I have in Starcraft.
FEDS kick ass in the beginning but will die easily mid way through the game Zeon has the better Weapon combined with speed. The battle cruiser has a capability of firing tons of units at a time and guess what! Zeon battle cruiser can only damage other CAp Ships which is so annoying!! I wanna know if we could put like torpedo frigate torpedos there cause those split and track fast units so it might be cool ^^.
I was hoping we could put in the Dendrobuim or the Zanzibar but I guess thats not my choice.

Silly Eskimos and their small knowledge of the gundam universe. The Gaw is an airiel transport ship. It is too big to be a fighter and does not work in space. And I agree about the zanzibar. It should be added. If the gwazine is there the Zanzibar should be too.

Zanzibar was definetly in space, and yes, the gaw attack carrier is on ground combat only. and i totally agree, zanzibar's should be added. Theyre totally awsm

zanzibar is a map in halo
zanzibar true is a map for halo, but it is also a zeon support cruiser.
It's also Kishiria Zabi's coffin.
Also Cima Garahous Lili Marleen if I'm not mistaken.

Has anyone successfully downloaded this yet? Mine freezes at the same point each time. And any idea what changes this is supposed to have?
