Did the mod team ever fix the inaccuracies in the Birmingham model?

EDIT: what i wanna know is if the gundam mod team ever made it so that the legs of any MS or gundam units actually move accurately with their movements.

who can complain? AK and weirdteaparty are doing this mod all by themselves. plus theyre models are like seriously high-poly! XD Anyway, is it me, or does the zaku machineguns shoot WAAAY too slow, tho? GM kau and GM custom machineguns too.

i rush with a Dump load of Bombers to Weaken you then put you in a Strangle hold untill i can Hit you with the bigest guns i got .... (not really)

You know, hosting a game for players ion diffrent country could cause problem for every one have their own time aere, and the quality of their internet servise IS DIFFRENT so you may have to play under an unacceptable Ping count, but if you are in the same country and have the time to play with others, I'm sure you'll enjoy the mod
And, Please be paitiont for a while~~in ver.3.0 will have so many new staffs, we'll have new MSes, we'll have finnels, we'll have beam sabers, we'll have sprid-shotting missils tankers, we'll have compains, well, almost everyting you want~~maybe we'll have new races, and all these will just take time to make them work in game, so Please be paitiont, give us enough time to make it perfect![]()

yeah second thing , OUR MOD ONLY COTAINS SUITS FROM 0079 TO 0083 , so i dont think any of your suits mentioned would appear in game XD
i was saying what kind of suits or MA uses funnels in between that period
Go to MAHQ, and check out the mecha section for First Gundam, Zeon.
Only the Zeon MAs have newtype-use weapons, but you might want to take a look at some UC manga for some extra units..

well, Birmingham is not so easy to be put into battle now, it will take you so long to resurch every thing it required and so much RUs are needed to pruduce it, and what's more, its rapid-shooting laser is not so effective anymore. anyway, we'll remap it to make it look better than now

But, arms? Maybe he meant the shot claws, the Zeong-esque wire-guided hands which fly outward to attack the enemy, the one he tried to kill Cima with, and the one he used to disable the GP03's I-Field.
That brings up an idea... maybe, you could make the GP03 fairly fast and powerful (around 500ish speed, but with maneuverability close to that of a warship), deck it out with firepower, but make it so that each weapon (beam cannon, missile holders, I-Field generator) are different subsystems, to balance it out.
I think I've said at least 4 TIMES that OUR MOD WILL NOT BE 100% THE SAME TO THE ORGINAL GUNDAM STORISE AND THOSE SETTINGS, so if you want the modle to be the way you like, I surgest you make it out yourself![]()

could be, but I wouldnt want a mod with justice or freedom roaming everyone
I mean, seed is very spectacular and so on, but too many uber unit/pilots, and that would be hard to balance.

well, I dont think the mod can die so easily, a normal mod maybe, but not a mod like this, a mod which many people want to seefinished, polished...
well i love this mod, its just that i have a few queries, i never really truly watched all of the gundams, but are you guys thinking of extending it from 0079 to CCA? cuz CCA has what i think the best mobile suits in the entire gundam universe, and second of all, i reckon you should recolour and replace some of the zakus for goufs, and add more Ace Pilot's mobile suits into it, like Char's custom series, and Ez-8 and the like, overall i think this is a great mod, but it needs funnels to spice it up more
btw, i never noticed, Char had a custom Dom? I thought he only had a zaku, z'gok, gelgoog, and sazabi

Well, Z'gok is a anfibious model only, something like the gouf wich is only used on earth and close combat, theres a flight version of the gouf but not for space purposes.
maybe adding more aces would unbalance the mod while EFSF aces where a bit... unskilled like kou Uraki or Shiro Amada who just had the power of the script ^_^U.
Lets let the gundam team work as they please, cause they said funnels, sabers and so on would be on the next release

I think more aces for the Zeon is a great idea because it adds variety to the game play, plus everyone like a hero. And although there weren't many known ACE pilots for the ESFS there were still a few and an oppotunity to make some. I know there trying to make it canno but still the option is there.
Actually, the EF had about as many pilots of 'Ace' status as Zeon really did. The MSV aces (Which many of the Zeon aces such as Johnny Ridden and Shin Matsunaga belong to this same category) make up most of the number, and the highest ranked EF ace had more kills than Amuro. Also, many Titans pilots from the Zeta era were also OYW pilots or aces in their own right, such as Yazan Gable, Bran Blutarch, and so on. Then there's also a number of main characters from video games who are also considered ace pilots in canon, such as Yu Kajima from Blue Destiny, and P. Rayer from RFtA. Then there's on screen aces such as South Burning (and the rest of the Immortal 4th platoon), and Terry Sanders (also an ace or veteran pilot by EF standards.)

I just want to know, how on earth are you gonna pull off the funnels? Make them subsystems and all that? Does that mean everyone can pull an Amuro and start shooting funnels down "zomg a zaku just killed all my funnels"
slightly off topic, but i heard the voice actor for Bright died not too long ago...sad....but it's amazing some of them still do voice acting, like Dullindal from SEED Destiny is the same actor as Char
Yes, the option is there, but imagine a storming squad composed by Chars custom Dom, Tristar team, jhonny ridden custom gelgoog, and gatos custom gelgoog, fearsome, isnt it? and if I can add more, just a pair of troppen or regular gelgoog... can cripple a complete fleet, even kill some EFSF aces...
maybe Adding some units for the same hero, just like happens in the 2.5 with chars zaku and dom and Gato's gelgoog and GP02 could be the answer.
For example:
Gato's custom Zaku I-> Rick Dom (beam bazooka) -> Gelgoog-> GP02 -> Neue Ziel
Char's custom Zaku II-> Rick Dom (beam bazooka)-> Gelgoog
Black Tristar Team -> Zaku II -> Rick Dom
I talk about theese because are the most Known by people, Char, Gato, Tristar Team...
My only pledge now is the resource collector being changed by balls and working zakus

Anyway, I dont think a zaku can kill a funnel, its too small for their low acuracy, maybe a more advanced unit could do it or a RX78/kampfer with a shootgun.
yes, every war has many aces, but adding aces which are unknown for many people is not a great idea, ok, its cool and so on, but just that, but many more people know Gato, Char, Amuro, Kou. They are not just "aces" they are part of the great show which is gundam 0079-0083. Why dont u add the jottunheim from gundam Igllo, Oggo, Zuda...? because as the show is named, they are part of the hidden One Year War...

Tristars? I didnt Watch the original series, 0079 is too retro for me, but they used both, high mobilty zakus and later Doms. Or at least thats what I saw in some urls. sorry, I cant paste them![]()
Yeah but still, I still think they should replace the Tristar's Zaku's with Rick Doms, since there are already too many zaku's for my liking T.T but I honestly can't wait to see what they did for the Funnels, it seems like a hard thing to do properly
Would it also be possible if someone had recorded sounds from the series and put them on the game? Say we actually had the proper beam sounds and speech, cuz I find it weird hearing Char saying "Cabin pressure dropping" in a monotone
It depends on who you ask I suppose, as a lot of long time Gundam fans are actually quite familiar with a pretty wide range of aces, and even many of the newer Gundam PS2 games have included a number of these other aces as well.
Even if you limit yourself to just animation, you can still have quite a number of pilots to work with for the EF, as you could easily include Kai, Sayla, Hayato, Ryu, Sleggar, and so on.
oh yeah, and after playing for a while, I think the idea of destroyable missles favourable too, I can't imagine a zaku dodging left and right with a swarm of missiles behind him, but ironically it happens, maybe being able to destroy them will make the RX-78 2 look less of a fool running away from missiles too
In the first release of the mod advanced units like tristars, gundams... indeed destroyed missiles but for some reason in the later ones they stopped doing so

Hmm I think Dyson and lemonofdoom might be mistaken... the reason why AK made tristar with zaku's because early phrase of OYW tristar did indeed pilot the hi-mo zakus to battle the feddies fleet while in space...but later because whats-his-face got killed by white base and gundam, they were ordered to hunt down rx-78 and white base. and blahblahblah in the end they got killed in their Domsso if AK's following the story tristars never get to pilot the Rick Doms. but then again AK did say something about not fully followed the story.

-Well Kai, Sayla, and Hayato for sure is from 0079Sayla is the chick im pretty sure Amuro had a crush on and Char's little sis. Kai is the dedicated Guncannon pilot and Hayato's the dedicated Guntank pilot. I havent watch 0079 for yrs and I watched it with chinese sub so I dunno/forgot who Ryu and Sleggar are. :S
but guncannon and guntank sucked in my opinion, they were like, higher up cannon fodder (GM), basically, "Ace" Fodder
Yeah guna cannon and gun tank pilots are just the friends of the star in any show who are there just to be in problems and be saved by the star.
Who wants a guncannon having a guncannon 2, much better unit, much much cooler
About tristars, I have never seen the show, and maybe I will never do it, but in my opinion I would like to see them with zakus first and the posibility to upgrade them to Doms, just for pleasure![]()
But the problem i see with having funnels in this is the potential power the suits are going to have, you're going to have a very hard time balancing the suits for this, think about it, say having nu gundam in it, 6 fin funnels, we could have a new measurement of power, 6 ZPS (Zakus per second)
