    Sure thing.

    Anyone here use a tactic or strategy (they're not quite the same, one is long term, one is short term) that they'd like to share?

    Also, while I was messing around with ingame badges, I came across this old thread.

    well my stratergy is basically what E.F.S.F is all about, quantity over quality, mass GM and near the end start mass GM Snipers, that way even if the enemy has Ace-Pilots my white dingo team can just demolish them

    Yes I know badges aren't supported, but I still do play vanilla HW2, and I'd just like to see fighters with the EFSF logo on the side of the hull..

    Wow... this mod is like a dream come true for me... Having invested alot in many different gundam-based playstation 2 games (only to be disappointed each time) it's great to finally find a game like I've been looking for (even if it is a mod). I'd like to personally thank all those involved for the creation of this mod, and wish them luck on any future releases.

    I absolutely loved the VS series of Gundam games. I was good up until Gundam VS Zeta Gundam, but Alliance VS Zaft's gameplay is too different (in terms of weaponry and speed) for me to play like I did on Gundam VS Zeta Gundam.

    There is a new VS game coming out in teh arcades, it is of destiny era and there will be a lot of MS to choose from.

    It's already out, it's Alliance VS ZAFT II, and they've even got AvsZ II Plus out, which is like the DX version of the previous UC era games.

    CE gundam games are like a 3d street fighter, nothing like UC era gundam games like chronicles, a mission, a big map, and many enemies to beat

    I would say that the VS games are similar to an arcade game I used to play alot in the past, virtual on, just that the controls are simpler. I hope the A vs zaft II plus will come out on ps2

    god dam it ! have any of you guys see the MK2 gundam model in game on the official album ?!? i actually hope and not hope the mod cross the era to ZETA .....its more complex and harder to balance but it will be cool

    Mmmmm... Gundam Mk2 was one of my fauvorite gundams, but U are right, if the mod is going to move forward to Zeta... one side its cooler, in the other side its more unbalanced and I dont like Zeon Mobile Suits in Zeta Shows, even worst, I hate Titans MS and MA :S

    aww, come on, the hizack was a cooler MS than the transformers the AEUG were running around in. Marasai is cool too. But I don't know what the point of having Zaku's or Dom's will be once you have researced Marasai's and Hizacks. And the Feddies had the lamest MS in that show, GM II? Nemo? and the ones that come out after the earth drop are just rediculous, Amuro pilots a goofy looking blue gelgoog wanna-be and everyone else gets a Rick Dom... i mean Dias until they get really stupid with 'wave riders' and what not.

    isn't the Fritz the Zaku Kai?

    Yes, it is, but i dont know which is cooler, fritz zaku or hizack the only hand shielded zaku Anyway, I hate the shows where Beam Weapons replace bullets, the higher rate of fire the cooler the gun is, like MP80 is a lot cooler than the 120mm zaku gun or Gundams beam rifle,

    Edit: This mod needs missiles swarms and bulcan missile killers

    and titans are the worst thing that ever happened to the UC timeline, whats wrong with E.F.S.F and Zeon? sure it gets boring but titans wasn't exactly a solution >.>

    you have to look at how the first series was set up, i mean, teenage boy fighting off the most skilled aces in the war after accidentally finding a giant fighting robot? so having char go undercover to fight side by side with him is almost a given down the road, it's just good, 'bad anime' and the titans the loopy plot device that makes that possible.

    and there were a handful of cool characters in Zeta, like Jerrid, he was awsome, i know that technically he's like a bad dude, but i always find myself pulling for him, especially since he piloted a hizack.

    i've actually had this mod for a while but i'm sorta new to the forum here, so if you guys could maybe answer a question for me i'd be really greatful cause the idea of sifting through 100 pages for one post that may or may not be there is not my idea of a good time. i

    f it's been asked before or even answered, please forgive me, but what's the deal in the slideshow of what i'm assuming are in-game models, does the dom now have a mmp-80? are they going to increase the number of mobile suits by just giving different models different weapons and thus let you sort of pick what you want. that would be a great idea cause personally i thought the idea of having to pair like an R-1 with a zaku F's cause one had a bazooka and the other had 120's.

    and the 120mm is so cool, how can you not love the vickers style gun man? horizontal, drum mag? that's just OG. and they have all the cool variations, like the ones with underslung grenade launchers and telescoping stocks or the assault rifle version in ZF.

    Well, you haven't seen 0083, have you? The maintaining of MS was much harder with limited resources, and as a result (also partly due to the United Maintainence Plan the Zeons implemented during the OYW), most MS had been upgraded so that they were somewhat easier to maintain, with standardization of parts and weapons. Would it have been easier to continue manufacturing entirely different weapons and ammo, or streamline production?

    i'm well aware of why the dom can use and mmp-80 according too fluff, but what i'm asking is why it would be in the game? didn't the 09R's have the 360mm bazookas in the 2.5 release? or did they always have the SMG's in the game?

    and the MS-09 could use most of the zeon armory before the UMP, and the 360mm can be used by MS-07B so it's no suprise that the MMP-80 is interchangable.

    Of course it's no surprise, it was meant to be interchangeable. They do have bazookas, I think. Although for the Zeon MS, in the "Heavy MS" section, there may be a MMP-80 wielding Rick Dom.

    That Dom is noted as dom troppen, altough the troppen was a heavier and better armored land ONLY version ^_^U, but the good thing in MS with hands is that they could use almost any hand weapon.

    When is going to be released a good gundam FPS? full customizable game would just wet many pants ^_^U

    man, i've sort of wondered how it is that no one has tried to mod DoW for Gundam, i mean, i've seen some impressive mod's for it, but nothing like what you see for HW2, is it not as accessible or something, and i don't think the Dom's in 08th MS team were trops, they were just normal doms from the looks of it, but i may be wrong, but one of them deffinately had a 120mm gun

    MMmmmmm maybe its because gundam is mainly a space opera. DoW is a squad mod, so many units may appear on screen, while large numbers of MSs were not very used on land combat, but it could be a good pace change

    So your going to tell me the only genre of games you play are rts?
    I think part of the reason they never did a mod for DOW is what do you do with all the buildings? and There was an attempt to make a UC era Gundam mod for DOW but from my understanding the main modder gave up due to the complexety of the coding of somthing or was it a tech tree issue? I cant remember.
    Besides my favorite MS-07B3 (ZF variant) with 90mm AR Rifle
    You play a little game of search and destroy in the ardenne's forest with me(your choice suit of course) and I promise Id show ya how awesoe Ground combat can be, and when its over dont feel bad because you lost , feel bad because you never saw it coming.

    GROUND COMBAT ARE FOR E.F.S.F/TITANS

    which results in sissy-ness, amuro would've done so much better being on char's side, see, if the asteroid wasn't dropped onto earth during CCA, char would rammed into Nu Gundam with his pod and kill amuro, so amuro was just lucky, don't mess with A.E.U.G/ZEON/NEO ZEON

    Well, Its AKs mod, so we cant argue, just say thanks for his and their hard work in the mod, but I dont think adding "Z" time line is a good idea, altough I allways wanted to kill some titans ingame.

    Why is it not a good idea? well, Zs mechanics are quite different to 0079-0083 models, not to mention that Zs mechas were horribly powerful compared to previous MS, so unbalanced

    well i consider the only 2 mobile suits that are worth mentioning in Z are just Qubeley and Hyakushiki, the rest aren't as well designed, especially Zeta, since it's so bulky it's amazing you can get Zeta and ZZ off the ground

    I like Zeta, but I hate it to be transformable, If I wanted a transformer I would ask for a valkirye(macross).

    Well Lemon, I disagree with U lemon, Personally, i dont like those ones, I prefer Hizack or Titans Gm variants, even Nu gundam looks good, but in other hand... yes, most of the models are not very good, too insect looking for me ^_^U

    I think I asked this before but how dynamic will the Zanzibar be when its moving around the map, I know its a silly question and shouldnt really be on my mind since its zero G.

    but when zanzi does turn will she dip her wings slightly when making turns?

    It won't~~for it's using the flight manuvers of big capital ships so it can only turn stablelizly.

    Actually, the Elmeth being able to build 'fighters' make sense. The 'bits' have to come from somewhere. Remember the drone frigates from the original homeworld? Same concept. So if a bit/funnel gets destroyed, it has to be replaced somehow. You build a new one.

    Reminds me of the Gundam mod for Starcraft. The Alpha Azieru (aka Protoss Carrier) built bits to attack with. It actually looked pretty good and natural ingame, as the "bits" would return to Alpha after it finished attacking.

    well whats the point of rebuilding them while the only person who can actually shoot funnels down is amuro, if you have a mobile suit that HAS funnels I doubt it'll actually be a problem to get rid of amuro

    I'm jumping on a limb here, Lemon but if they are considered a buildable option, much like a limited range fighter, then any unit can target them. You have choose between taking out the swarm of bits, or the mother unit in that case.
