    what programs can actually OPEN torrent files? i never knew how to open them properly.

    I'm thinking the torrent might be dead. I have had it running for the better part of the last day and it hasn't moved at all. Before you say anything about ports or firewall i have my ports open and my firewall off.So is anyone having any better luck downloading this?

    Hi, Ive been playing a bit this morning with the unoficial version with shows custom sounds and I discovered that Gelgoog marine is still using CS sounds

    Gotta love this version

    Zied, it's not like it's a FPS game, you'll have to mod it a bit to do that. You'll have to ask in the modding section about how to do that..

    I get that, but, they just don't hit well. I aim at zaku's from far range when setting up a battle and supporting units, they just keep missing. I had a 3/10 hit rate when fighting normal size frigates. May be just my computer though. When you said fps, that kinda gave me an idea. This is probably not possible, but modding the scripts (im a noob at this, plz dont flame me just an idea) go into the first person of a gundam with a magic button, just select a unit, and execute commands, like shoot head guns, or aim cannons. Problem would be to mod every single gundam to have a interface unique to it.

    Oh no, I don't think that's possible. There are some RTSs that can do that, but not Homeworld.

    Also, you have to consider that some MS don't fight well against other MS and most ships, so the machine gun toting Zaku I/II and GMs are only useful as anti-fighters. I typically have MG-equipped MS take out fighters/bombers, and beam/bazooka equipped MS attack ships and other MS.

    I figured why, i need to micro manage them, they went for interceptors....i made them go for like kampher and gelgoogs, they take em down in like 5 seconds. Nu Ziel went down in a minute with no damage to us...i let the computer become a meat shield and fought from back. i think my fav unit is the Gm Sp2. What about you guys, whats your most favorite unit?

    just from there, from dolos with gatos gelgoog and gunda highjack plan researched, but if U build GP02 or gelgoog U wont be able to build it. Good unit with a commader unit close to it but sometimes GP02 and one shot killing a capship or gelgoog with a fast firing beam rifle... deadly for fighters, corvettes or frigates with jonny ridden near it.

    you and me, both! lol. but personally, i like the GP03 better. the gp02a still deserves a nuke on it more than a huge particle beam.

    Particle beam? In my version, GP02 shoots a nuke, with a limited radious and almost kills a Higaran battlecruiser, maybe its because I use the modified version of 3.0, the one with sounds changed(most of them, not all )

    As far as I know neither me or Delayclose changed any weapon damage in the sound mod. So its gotta be a stock thing.

    To be honest, I haven't downloaded 3.1. What are the new features? Also, Delayclose is the one that does the coding so it's all up to him.

    Any real update from U guys could be great, Since U added the new sounds, the mod came to a new dimension, seriously

    its a pity it still lacks proper resource collectors and bugs with them taking debris or units still using CS sounds.

    sup guys,

    Its been a while since i posted here.

    Actually,i'm still working on a small patch for the custom mod Lupin and I made.With some improvement over the existing sounds.
    Besides the sounds,i'm trying to do some simple modding for all the units.By modding their build time,HP,accuracy and etc etc.

    But don't expect it to come out any time soon.
    Since the whole thing is very time consuming,and there still a lot of problems i have yet to solve,and with God of War 2 around the corner,i don't think i gonna spend a lot of my free time on modding lol. :P


    As for 3.1,i don't think i gonna mod it since the changes are very minimal,and some of changes in it could be easily copypasta'd into the existing 3.0.

    Sounds great. I'm deffinately looking forward to the finished product.

    Also, if you could add in the reinforcement game mod, the one from warlords, that would be great. As it is, the current resource gathering and amazingly slow build/research gametype is rather boring.

    i have a request i dont know if its possible or if it would take ages or not so its just a request, could you possibly try to make this mod compatible with the homeworld classic reballance gametype mod. Or maybe even make your own gametype with more options like unit caps and starting money and RU injections and such just for when i want to battle instead of spending a good half hour or so resourcing.

    You could just start a game, save it immediately, and then edit the save file for more resources. Then every time you want to play, just load that save file.

    hey zero. i tried ur advice to save a game and open the file but when i opened the file using notepad and word a scribble scrabble of codes came up and i couldnt tell what part to change. how do u do that exactly ??

    Ah thanks zero. i found and configured the lua file to have like 9999999 ru's. sadly its only for the single player campaign and not the multiplayer part. is their anyway to do this while doin player vs cpu with the gundam mod? if not i wonder how to incorporate and injection system. that would be uber sweet leet. thanks again tho

    I happen to be chinese, just that my english is a lot better than my chinese, anyway I thought that if you did not unzip the chinese localiuzation files the menus and description remains in english?

    Yeah you can keep everything in English. Some of the new things I've noticed is taht the GPO3's main cannon fires more, or atleast it's more noticeable because it's animation is changed to the big giant yellow beam.

    The unit limit of certain units have increased, like the beam rifle GMs and the stronger Zaku II's.

    Of course the star wars sounds are gone.

    hi guys

    a small update on the little mod i'm working on

    here are some of the changes

    -added and changed some sounds

    -modded the RU harvest rate,i wanted to implement the RU injection feature,but it is not working.

    -modded the armor and weapon stats,weapons are stronger now,like beam weapons takes huge chunk of health off the enemy.Fighters have weaker armor now,but their speeds are faster and guns have a harder time hitting them.

    -modded the build and research time.Decrease both of it significantly

    -changed the unit caps

    these are some of the changes,can't think of the rest,since the computer i'm using now is not mine.
    But i think that is most of it.

    I'm almost done with it,now just need to tidy it up a bit.

    I have a request delayclose, dont know if U can do it.

    Zeon can drop the harvested debris on Gwayzine and Chiivay, but EFSF can do it only on Albion and Pegasus carrier, so its hard to harvest those debris for EFSF.

    Another thing I realized is that EFSF Units are Uber agressive, and easy to loose as they fight alone if U dont watch over them
