    And a V Gundam won't?

    but lets bee serious, this is a UC mod and SEED has no place in it. Now if someone went and made a SEED mod that would be fun as well but compairing the two dosn't really work all that well.

    Just a small nitpick to whoever did the Engilsh big.
    Any reason you made the restrictions for the special unit by a unit class rather then pilot name? (Ive changed mine manually)

    Overall i find this gamre rather fun though there are still a few annoing things...

    Like the GP01fb being classed as a corvette causing it to be untargetable by all the weapons that would realy harm it, (Including the burrok) and that there is no limit on the number of GP01fb's you can field.

    That and the build times of the latter generation Zeon units. its almost imposible to get enought of them out to counter a late game rush

    Yea i agree with death to a certain extent, like how special/hero classes should be limited to only 1 unit per build....and classes need to be targeted with the appropiate weapons.

    BUT, the nitpicking part from u about zeon cant counter late game rush is totally unagreeable. when the zeon can build the the platform subsystem and they first build the dom and dom tropen...those things does massive dmg...esp the rick dom cause they got longer range than GM cannon and dmg wise are much much more heavier. and if u reserach fast enough to get char's customizable dom that thing owns literally everything. Plus, doesnt it sound just like the anime where zeon tried rushing new and capable MS to counter the feddies but were too late to actually turn the tides of the war?

    For my nitpicking part...if gelgoog's supposed to have about the same stats as gundam in terms of firepower and mobility...i think AK should beef gelgoog a bit cause its pretty darn weak right now ~_~.


    PS- on and as for sicksaddave2, char's customized rick dom is actually a msv :P so there ARE actually MSV in the game XD

    I'm facing a strange problem on setting up weapons. I set the hit rate of many weapons to 100% when they are going against capital ships, but when I test them in game, the bullet just flow by the ship, not hitting them(and don't make damage to the target).I tried many ways to slove this but I failed. Does anybody here know why and how to slove this?

    The shots try to hit a point that is not on the ships mesh. A common problem.

    that dont seem to be a problem AK. I dont really thing if a ship misses a few shots that itll be a serious issue.

    Every shot counts on war but its hard to believe that a small craft can miss such a big target, its like playing any star wars game, shoot a star destroyer and miss the shot, if that happens, you deserve to be shot down but if it is a big ship which misses the shot, yes, its not a big problem

    Willing to see Zeons new ass kickers.

    help?

    Hi guys, im new to this, been looking forward to this mod ever since my friend told me about it (as im a big Gundam fan), so i downloaded 2.5mod, and install it like it say here (Installation: extract the gundam_mod2.5.tzj into your homeworld2\data folder, then open the english version folder
    and extract the english.big file into your homeworld2\data folder as well. Lastly, extract the gundam_mod2.5.bat file
    into your homeworld2\bin\release folder. To start up the mod after all these steps have been taken, just double click
    the gundam_mod2.5.bat file) the only problem is everytime i try to start the game by double click on the gundam_mod2.5 bat file, all i get is a dos command box for an second or so, and that it, nothing else happen, am i doing something wrong here?

    any help will be very grateful..

    Problems about Weapon

    when we test our new weapons on the orginal ships, the can hit their target correctly, but when we try that on our new ships, they don't hit their target, just fly by them.
    So I'm thinking about this, look at the picture down there,
    the red area is inside the contours but complately empty, some of the missing bullets went thought these areas, so I wondered if these areas caused the missing. the orginal ships were set up in regularly shapes so there isn't or just a few such areas, so they don't have this kind of problems.
    If anybody has ideas about this, Please tell us as soon as possible. We'll never be thankfull enough for that

    No, its not a collison detection error.

    That would be it passing through the actual ship.

    Talk to Eviljedi i think he worked something out when he was playing with the Collision meshes.

    hentai can mean a few different things, but along the same lines. Such as weird or strange, but pervert is one way of translating it. Kinda context based thing from what I understand. Anyway...go Gundam! Go Gundam team! *insert fanfare*

    Can't seem to download v2.5?The ftp is out of the question and both the download links at the http://files.moddb.com/750/ page are busy or won't allow me to carry-on the download as I have d/l 63% of the mod through the planet mirror link but now the page wont load properly for me to carry-on d/l it :cranky:

    I'm using the planetmirror link but for some reason it did not work all the time when resuming the download for it?
    I used filemirrors to get the link again and this is it:

    That link doesn't work, but I know where the one that does work is. However, it is not in the ModDB for Homeworld 2 directly. They don't have a link for it in the list. And that link is .rar, which I wasn't asking for.

    ok, totally different prospect here. Now it sounds like u dont have WinRAR. U need winRAR to upen RAR folders. Its jus like winzip, but better.

    lol, i fixed that problem with me a long time ago. you should consider doing so as well. i put a 1 ship limit fro all the hero mobile suits and mobile armors. well, then again i also heavily modified the hiigarans and vaygrs so they can stand a chance against the EFSF and Zeon, but thats another story. you gotta modify the unitcaps luas.

    use the standard shortcut for loading mods into HW2:
    ""C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -mod gundam_2.5.big -luatrace"
    and it should work!!!!

    i cant get the mod to work i have followed the instructions thru and thru but i can not fiqure out how to get it working i even tried re-instaling HW2 and going through the steps again with -overrideBigfiles command line in and when i clicked on the dos icon to start it, it just blinked out and dint start the mod at all
    what am i doing wrong?
