A few months back I installed a 256 RAM ATI 9800 PRO on my PC and DOW played all happy and smooth. I'm not the best with PCs but I survive. Two weeks ago it started acting very odd when I played DOW, it totally distorts the screen to look like the center of the screen is a circus tent and you're looking up from below. The card also gets very hot to the touch. I was wondering if anyone else had problems like this. At first I thought it was related to the extreme humidity we were going through in the North East, but with the weather being much more pleasant the problem still persists. I have reformatted my machine and reinstalled everything (including 5.8 drivers) and the problem is still there. Is it merely that I need another fan for my PC or is it something more dire? Thanks for any help.
