The official litestep site used to be www.litestep.net. Too bad it's dead.

    I don't think it's coming back, either.

There are a few other sites to try (namely www.ls2k.org, www.litestep.com, and a few others). You'll be able to download distributions of litestep from those.

The theme I'm using is currently a one of a kind... I haven't put together a release version. Well, not yet anyway.

To those who don't know, litestep is a shell replacement for windows. Basically, it replaces your start bar, task bar, and start menu. It adds functionailty to windows (e.g. hotkeys, shortcuts, winamp controls), and makes it pretty. Fully customizable, too.

Ha! Mine is crappier than all yours, it's green writing on a black background. On the right there is text that's supposed to look like scrolling programming and a radar screen on the left.

    My system is pretty basic:

    Small monitor
    150 Mghz Pentium Elite processor
3.99 GB of memory on two drives
    HP Deskjet 540 printer
    US Robotics 56k modem
    24x creative CDrom
    Floppy
    Microsoft SideWinder precision pro joystick
    Web Cam
and 2 used audio speakers that were made by Sharp

Hmmm... maybe it's time to change my desktop.

    Archon:

MS was offering them for 10 bucks a while ago off windowsxp.com, I paid my 10 bucks and then got to download the ISO Image of the CD complete with my own personal CD Key. The evaluation is based on the Release Candidate 2 build and is REALLY impressive.

    Omi-Kun:

There were no good DDR Boards at the time (and the DDR RAM itself was a tad expensive) so I got the best SDRAM one that was available. Soon that system goes to my wife, and I'll be building a brand new DDR one for me.

    Fly:
I got the image from amongst these. The one I used is this one, in which I only removed the text.
