    As many of you know I'm part of the DoW/WA AI team **BUT** have been leading a rather subversive life garnishing various 3d people outside this community for help in ours.

    I've been helping various mod teams out get the talent they need they would otherwise not be able to. Its not perfect: its human nature to get some all ready to go then they start working with the mod team and >BAM!< real-life obligations hit em and they fall off. You cannot screen for such intangibles! I try my best but ITS UP TO YOU MOD TEAMS to be as courteous and up-front as possible proving all the concept art and technical knowledge-exchange as possible. Everyone coming in that I get has 3ds MAX v6.x+ experience or at least tells me.

    Now.. My most recent transaction happened with Alf but I do have 1 additional modeller/texturer/animator ready for activation.

    Please try not to flood me with too many requests

    I usually have modellers, riggers, texturers, and animators ready but VERY few who own a copy of DoW/WA. Thats just life.

    So let me know and we can "queue you up"! :tooth:

    the crusade of redemption mod needs a modeler (many other people for other tasks aswell but modelers are quite important espeacially with infintry)

    if you have an experienced skinner (somewhere around my level would be good to ensure consistency)/animator/modeller that likes chaos, we'd be enjoying his company of course. He's gotta be insane and evil as well to fit into the team.

    He however doesn't have to be nice or kind and post much in the forums, that's a huge bonus.

    i do need a modeler for The Factions. I dont need any one advanced the mod will take a long time and completely editing will get skilled over time.

    And a aniamator and texturer the usual a mod needs

    i could also use an artist to help get the look on paper thus helping the modelers

    The squatdom needs help in such priority order:
    1. animator
    2. character modeller
    3. texturer

    Even a single person who can help would boost our efficiency. I cant handle all the work.

    I'd like some quick models and changes done to exsisting models for the final liberation campaign. I can be contacted by PM or finaldeath@gmail.com . Of course, I don't know how to model or animate. I was going to ask for models once I produced some beta maps so people know I'm serious, but if anyone has some spare time, they could get done now.

    Now I have a queue of staff requests!

    Tyconius - I sent 3 people yer way 1-2 months back? Did they all get scared when they saw how both sinster and sexy DE units are?

    As for everyone else.. Okay.. so I will get moving as fast as I can. Most mod teams have enough staff although when is enough really ENOUGH?

    The problem with illicting help is the simple fact: noone is getting paid. Money speaks.. Hard to motivate and keep focused without it especially if yer not passionate about the franchise. Takes a certain person..

    Thud I'm not even religious and I see you as a saint. Once I finish with this major project at Uni I'll have A) more time to mod B) more skills to mod. Worry not Compiler good stuff is coming.
    Your work in this area has inspired me Thud. I think I will make an general announcement in my school seeking qualified animators/texture/model people, we have some talented students in the higher grades. Getting credits in a major mod is good for a portfolio, and sure money talks but bragging rights scream. Maybe I can get one or two people to help out. It's worth a try.

    Thanks Mel.. Try my best since June on this side-recruitment project. Logisitically, hard to keep track of all the "new hires" but they are stored in my Trash bin somewhere. hehe. But hell.. if you can get some interested 3d students interested THATS THE BEST as young minds have more energy and lust for learning (to a degree). However, older we get the more experience but energy and family obligations slow things down.

    Yes.. please get other 3d people in.. 3dsmax with any modelling, rigging, texturing, and animating experience! Being a committed person is a nice tangible.

    Only two people joined up, and both of them don't have the time any more. Anyway, a texturer should be on top of the list. We've got a decent amount of models but we have no texturer.

    an extra modeller/coder for the fantasy mod wouldn't go amiss thud! we ARE still working, but just very slowly...I know I said we were dead, but thanks to the tempest, we are actually doing something!

    We need a Modeller mainly. Without a modeller we can't get anything done. The mod hasn't made much progress to far, but if we could just have one model finished we could show to everyone that the mod isn't dead.

    I wonder if there is any official team that Thudmeizer is not a member of.
    Actually all the mods need Thud's team talents in AI, so I guess he is invited in every single mod out there.
    Plus he is working with ShinGouki at the moment to update the Steel Legion mod to WA standard.

    Thud is one of DA guys in official mod teams.
    And he is also the community's unofficial cheerleader.

    The GrotFest mod needs another modeller. We also need skinners, texturers, animators... but thats for another day.

    really right now the factions mod has a modeler (a second one wouldnt hurt :moose: ) but really we need a texturer and anaimater. tahts all right now.

    Adeptus Mechanicus mod requires Modeller, Skinner, Animator and a Texturer.
    Don't need a Skinner, Animator and Texturer yet. So just a modeller if poss.

    The EoE mod needs someone that can create a fully textured model from an existing concept sketch. Essentially we're looking for someone to model and texture necron buildings in 3dsMax 7.

    Got a few in the queue now.. trying to delegate. A little slow due to pre-Christmas rush and of course every 3d artist wants to do it for money. Still.. lots of generous people who just want the challenge/glory without financial compensation. If only I could win the lottery... :omg:

    Thud I still don't have a single texture artist... dont' suppose you've found anyone interested in doing that yet? I have a whole bunch of stuff that would benefit a lot from decent textures. It's really frustrating having such a highly developed mod and not a single texture artist. The texture artist is vital to making your mod *look* good. If you look at the most popular mods out there it's largely due to the high level of detail in the textures.

    I would also like a modeller who is interested in robots, mechs or vehicles to give the craftworld mod a big boost as well as to help on the relic unit for harlequins.

    Farseer Cohinor is a very faithful member of the mod and a good friend of mine. However by his own admission texture artist is not really the best way to describe him. He retextured some exsting eldar units admirably to make our placeholders more interesting however making a texture from scratch is a whole different kettle of fish to editing an existing texture. His assistance on the mod is greatly appreciated still but I think even he would want a more professional texture artist to work on the mod just as much as I do if not more.

This involves modling feral/tribal orks, giant crabs, civillians, smaller squigoths without guns ontop ect.     I checked what yer asking for: thats ALOT OF STAFF to fill. There is a narrowing queue now. Have a few more mods to get too which are in "priority sequence".
