    Now I was trying to make some of my own improvements for the space marines models, but i blew it all. I have, model errors, texture errors, animation errors. I was trying to add some of the stuff from the veterans (chest vents, shoulder pads stuff, tabbards). I don't know if this is "codex", but maybe some one else would try to make the standard marines a little more "ornametal"? Please? Pretty please?

    Oh yeah, CTC Berserker pistol-firing while stationary is still bugged.

    They lean at around a 20-30 degree angle to the left when firing their pistols standing still.

    No one else but you, seemed to care too much about improving the WA IG infantry. You did an excellent job with the codex guardsmen, codex kasrkin, and codex officers.

    For that alone, you get my eternal gratitude. My only wish is that someone out there continues your excellent work on them.

    I have my termies operating perfectly.....all weapons showing properly....no bug detected so far

    VoydAngel you should check your lua or rgd files I don believe the problem is from the model or texture

    missing their left arms? i dont see that happening to me...are you sure you installed them correctly, VoydAngel? can you post a screenshot to show proof of this glitch maybe?

    Sorry, dont know how to post a SS in a post... Note however, that I didnt "Install" the models, I just dropped in the models and am using my own LUA/RGD files for weapons, move speed, cost, etc. I have no idea how that could affect ingame model representation, but hey....maybe cause im using different weapons? actually now that I state that, thats probably what it is.....

    PS. can someone tell me how to post screenies? (I tried the "Insert Image" button, it doesnt seem to do anything....

    There will be a line like this

    ["name_for_this_weapon_choice"] = "space_marines_heavy_bolter"

    This has to be the name for the weapon in the model itself what the Maker has named it

    This is the line of the weapon lua file where u can change the stats of the weapon

    ["weapon"] = "weapon\\space_marine_heavy_bolter_tactical.lua"

    sorry if this is going off topic, but since I have you here....

    ok, so for example ... if i put weapon choice of "space_marines_heavy_bolter", but use the weapon: "space_marines_bolter_tactical.lua" Is that kosher? I dont want to actually change the stats for the weapon, because that will change the stats for all the units that are using that same weapon, I just want to change the weapon stats of that one unit type (in this case, the termies). I always thought that the "weapon choice" and "weapon.lua" had to match up. If they dont, and I can mix and match the "weapon_choice" and weapon.luas, then that will actually solve a problem for me in my mod (other than the missing arms) :juggle:


    and thanks for suggesting imageshack, i'll look into it, i was previously looking for just someway to have these forums just upload directly into my posts. I actually already know how to host pics and then post a link to it, I just cant figure out how to post a pic directly in my post.

    2. Give Havoc's Ard Boyz running/jumping charge attacks similar to GK and Kroots. They already have the animations they just need to be tweaked for the new DC code!

    I think I found a bug in the Codex Officers. I used them as seargeants for the guardsemn, and while I was playing eldar against IG I whas using warp spiders in big numbers. While all the guardsmen where outnumberd pretty quick, the officer made a quite long stand. It looks like the warp spiders weapon didn't damage him pretty well. Don't know if it's onlt for spiders, or for other units to, gotta check it out.

    People, certain events have taken place (or will soon) that have push C2C into a dark period. With BigFish on holiday i'm now texturer-less and soon Havoc's leaving too (Cya Havoc, It's been great) and i'm on the verge of flunking in real life, that and also with dark crusade's release bout a week away that will introduce new codes and stuff. I think it's time C2C get a good long break until everything returns to normal. Please bare with me.
