    One last thing very soon i'll release two single models
    - Helmeted Veteran Sergeants
    - Helmeted Commanders

    I'm releasing them seperately coz maybe some people like the old one better.

    Someones already doing LR Crusader and as for techmarines i just saw the model. kind of complex, i'll give it a shot, no promises though. Same goes for combat sevitors

    The BAAL will be fluff-wise unusuable in the regular SM army butt will be great for people who can't wait till the BA mod comes out.

    Great work medes love the land speeder , we probably would have asked to use this ball predator but stranger and compiler finished ours a while ago ,



    we have just been waiting until almost all the models are complete before releasing an update to the BA mod which will include the baal, but any new models are a good thing, keep up the great work medes.

    Mine would have heavy flamers instead of heavy bolters and and black pearl paint and flames on it and some red bits so it will go faster

    Medes, man are those nice.

    If you could merge the 'twin' heavy bolter and 'twin' assault cannon into 'one barreled' versions (it always looked more like a special Ravenwing Commander vehicle rather than a regular one) and make the land speeder model use both missile launcher and assault cannon as upgrades, that would be just icing on the top! Making havy bolter upgrade into multi-melta and assault cannon into heavy flamer would finish this whole fast attack selection once and for all.

    Medes, I love you! Your skills of modeling are kickass, and your Landspeeder and Baal Pred are awsome.

    Any chance of seeing a Defiler with a twinlinked Lascannon upgrade?

    Couple of other requests - Chaos Rhino with a comi-bolter mount, Hellhound with a hull mounted Heavy Bolter, Chimera with a hull mounted Heavy Bolter, Leman Russ with Lascannon upgrade replacing the front HB, and mobile support plats (including a Shadow Weaver) for Eldar

    BTW, there seems to be a slight texture issue with the new Havoc weapons.There's pink tubing on the Lascannon and a pink ammo box for the Autocannon - mind you this works fine for an Emperor's Children army Btw, is there any chance of doing away with the demon head muzzle for the Havoc Autocannon? It makes it look a bit nose-heavy...I also had a suggestion for one of the none-horned CSM heads - a plume on the top like the Sluggas have.

    Other than that, keep up the good work!

    Mmh just to keep you updated, I've been very busy, but with life more than DoW modding. 'Been messing with the (many) idle animations and FXs set up from time to time, but finally it should soon be ready for shipment to Compiler hopefully.

    yo medes, for making a techmarine, how about chopping the enginseers backpack onto the marine and add a hi-tech bolter

    to make it look really awesome, mirror the pack so it has four arms like here

    Great work here, one request make the chainsaw attachments to the termies weapons more underslung rather then out to the side,shorten the arms a bit, at least the firing arm and put in a reaper auto cannon please it would just tie things together. once again great great work!

    i know, the previous icon bearers had that problem too.
    Still can't find a way to fix it.

    Please some mod team post here and let us know your using some of this stuff. Its like going to waste if only a small percentage of the community know how to edit and get this stuff wroking in game. The havocs and veterans need to be made available as some kind of mini mod wuth installers or/and incorporated in some bigger mod.

    How is a vet with power claws gonna sync kill a BT? would there be like air where the hammer smashes in the BT's head?

    Couldn't help noticing how the one Marine only has a single Lightning Claw though...don't Marine Veterans get two or none at all (except the Sergeant, if he gets his from the armoury)?

    Also, not sure how easy it would be (due to differences in skeleton or whatever), but wouldn't Marines with Lightning Claws look better using the Imperial Guard General's animations, rather than the Force Commander's? Considering the General also has a pair of claws? The Pistol sync-kill animation the General has could be left out, or be simply replaced with a Bolt Pistol, I would imagine, if somebody had questions about that.

    Of course, I'm nowhere near as good at this sorta stuff as you are...so it's really upto you what you do, but just an idea .

    Can be done, but that would need a whole different model. If i do that, i have to make all of them with claws, since they would use the same attack anim. It would look strange if a vet with a power axe keep jumping like the claw attack

    Besides i was kind of saving the claw attack for Captain Shrike

    But can't you set different animations for different weapons in the Object Editor, like what is done for the Scout Sniper rifle firing? (Speaking of which, Scouts with Bolt Pistol/CCW, Boltgun, Shotgun, and Sniper Rifle options would be nice, rather than the un-codex Plasma & Flamer *hint* *hint* :frog:.)

    Oh wait...actually, I see what you mean...you would have to make a new model wouldn't you? Seems the parts of the model would then have to be named the same as those in the Imperial Guard General for the X-Refed or copied animations to work right, wouldn't they? If I rememeber correctly anyway.

    Oh well, no worries...

    Besides i was kind of saving the claw attack for Captain Shrike
    ...is fair enough anyway :thumb: .

    Hey guys, I heard you guys are also working on completing the unfinished model of the WA IG heavy weapons platoon unit? That would be very sweet because Korbah desperately wants that in order to make his IG for his DOWpro mod. He'll be back at around end of January.

    If that could be done we'd be very grateful! I believe all it needs are textures for the sandbags and barbed wire.

    Hey guys - I've looked in these forums and searched the wiki but I can't figure out where to put the lua files. I know that this isn't the first you're asked but we weren't given any usable answers.

    So could you please tell me where to put the lua files from Chaos Pack1?

    In the readme it's also written that that there are several randomized parts for some of the models - is this something that I have to work with or will the parts automatically appear if I have placed all files correctly?

    Ok guys, update on Chaos dread.
    There seems to be a problem with either importing or xrefing the animations, for some odd reason both guns shoot into the ground. I've tried it many times and i always get the same result. Everything else is working fine though

    kjon, you haven't set the 'y' size as a negative have you? It puts the centre of the target which is being shot at at different heights. This would not be on the chaos dred but its target.

    Placing the files in game is alot more complex then the four step instruction Medes provided in his readme. The first three steps are easy. The next step requires you to familiarize yourself with the AE.

    It is. SCARY. Yes, I said it, scary to open it up and look at all those complicated files, and you need to explore abit in order to get a hang of it. It took me four hours to figure out what goes where, but in the end, I managed to get chaos terminators in! The Wiki is ... well, not very helpful for anyone who doesn't want to sit down for 4 hours and plouge through its information. You'll have to play around with it yourself. On another note, never mess with the WXP or W40k thingy.

    On an off note topic...

    the research ability for chaos projectiles vanished. Anyone know where it should be?
