I think i was hacked how do i fix

I was in a game and was about to win when the game froze and quit to the desktop, then when i tryed to start the game it said it failed to initialize the video card or something like that. I have had this game since it came out and this is the first problem i have had , also i tryed all other games i own and all work fine. So i tryed to reinstall the game but after it finishes it asks for a path. So as usual i select the C: drive ad it says setup cant find a file on that specific path or disk, please check that the proper disc is inserted or specify a new path. I tryed a lot of new paths all didn't work. I dont know what to do from here and i think the enemy might have hacked my game just before he lost the game. Please someone help me!

there is no such thing as hacking. You think that someone is actually a hacker who plays DOW? hackers steal passwords and robs banks, not hack a poor guys comp just to win a game in DOW.

Have you checked if your cd isnt physicly injured somewere?
Do you install it on the default path? (C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War)
After uninstall, have you removed manually all the folders, files and stuff?

i looked under dxdiag and everything was fine and i couldnt find warnings.log argh it just seemed like a hacker because he had won 200+ games and barely lost any and in the game he was acting very noobish. As for the cd i dont see any damage, i tryed just instaling dow and still the error came up, even when i did the defualt path... :boohoo: :fright:

hmm i tryed danw of war again and it somehow worked.. weird.. :claw: :?:
