Dooks Dizzo vs Murphy[Ork]
Shooting Phase
Dooks opened up first, and he was definately in the mood (that or his Plasa Pistol was just having a good day...), taking a wound off Murphy's Squiggoth and a wound off Dark_Watcher.
Sword_Monkey then stunned the Squiggoth, meaning it wouldn't charge into melee next round!!
Unfortunately the Squiggoth god off his ranged payload, and it was a doosy. Both Dooks and Zarathustrian both took a wound, and the meddling Enslaver took 2, leaving him precariously close to death.
A fact Inquistor Zell's Tyrant exploited. His bioweapons cutting the enslaver down, but Murphy still wouldn't be charging this round.
First Assault Phase
Zell leapt into CC, desperate to make up for his recent poor form. The Tyranid smashing his long talons through Dooks chest, killing the Daemonhunter. Zell then swiped at Zarathustrian, taking 2 wounds off the other Tyranid.
Watcher then took a wound of Zarathustrian, only to have the Carnifex ram his tusks through various of his orifaceses... Watcher was dead.
Zara, in his rage, also took 2 wounds off Zell.
Second Assault Phase
Zarathustrian began the round by regenerating 2 wounds...
Now he really had a chance at victory. But would it be enough?
Zell proceeded with his flurry of attacks. Resulting in the Carnifex losing 2 wounds.
In reply Zarathustrian took the Hive Tyrant's life and 2 wounds from Murphy[Ork], who failed to hit the mighty Carnifex in return.
Third Assault Phase
Zarathustrian attacked again. However, 1 wound (causing 2 thanks to biomorphs...) wasn't enough to bring the Squiggoth down. Barely Murphy[Ork] held one, with just one wound to spare.
The Squiggoth then charged the Carnifex and used his massive weight to crush the Tyranid into the ground. The game was over, as was the Tournament.
