So I went for another sky pic tour...

(sorry for the wild exposure variation, but you can't really be constant with sensor linearity and fast light intensity diminshment :/ )

... when I remembered tonight there was a concert. A blues concert. So what I did was put myself in front of concert-goers :angel:

I have a ton of them, but it's all around the same, different lighting etc. I sincerely can't remember their name, but they were preety good, very good croud interaction. I'll edit this post when I find out their name.

Buggo: great picture, the kid hanging upside down and all. Its just great.

Chrys teh last sky and fist jazz are excellent.

As to the flower picture, it was auto focased in macro mode (I was being lazy). The slight out of focuse kind of creates an intresting effect though.
(These pictures may appear slightly fuzzy, as if minutely out of focus. That is from imageshack shrinking them from there full 5mp glory.)

I've had to resort to some old nature pictures taken on a 60mm micro that I posted in another thread sometime ago, sorry for the re-cycleing, but I'm running dry (of anything decent that is). I need to get out and take pictures again.

Along with the other pics in this thread, my pictures look amateurish and puny but I wanted to show you the furry animal who was stealing my peanuts for a week until I noticed it.

So I am in Pico Island, in the azores, and have some pics to share. Unfortunately the weather so far hasn't cooperated much with me, so these don't really show the island in it's full glory. It is amazingly beautiful.





About 1200m high. Pico is the tallest mountain in Portugal, 2351m tall.

Do you have any image editing software? You can correct some colour aberrations present in some of those.

Yes i have photoshop cs2 but I'm not sure what shold i do with the pictures, if you could detail it I'm sure I'll be able to fix it

Master, Just do a little colour balance. the mountain pics had a purple/move tint which made it look unnatural.

If you don't know what to do with PS, just mess around. I didn't know that much about PS (I still don't know alot) but playing around with the basics is all you really need... plus Chrys has given me a few pointers here and there

If all else fails all you need is...

Image> Adjustments > Auto Levels

Cool stuff.

Generally, it helps if you know how it should look to your eyes. Although it may be the case that the blue / purple tint was natural at that height, but in a photograph it looks un-natural.

It helps if you mess around with levels and hue. Spend a half hour with a picture to make every possible adjustment.
