One thing I most miss of Iyanden are the ghost warriors. nice to see that they will be in your mod
Btw, for a future planned Iyanden race, why to use the Knight (Bright Stallion would be the nicest, but the Tower is still fabulous) when you have already something more small and still more "eldarish".. I'm taking 'bout the Spirit Warrior. Yes, those Farseer Dreadnought is truly the spirit of Iyanden I think

After just winning 2 out of 3 T&H games with a mostly-guardians-and-a-grav-tank-largely-by-accident army, I feel the need to once again experiance what the Eldar can really do

WOW this Harlequin imprvement its something really beautiful to see, not even GW would had been able to revitalize such a potential army, I hope one day they can remake justice to the harlequin armies.
the conceptual art its beautiful aswell and speaks by itself , I simply havent got worhts for such work and improvement you had made.

dodo (you gotta funny name there), for ongoing info on the Harlequin mod, check out their forums.
Keep in mind that a lot of mods have their own sites & forums, where they do a lot of the discussion, and then post here for major updates. The best place to find links to these sites is Thudmeizer's Current State of Dawn Of War Mods.
Your team’s excellent work and dedication will surely make this project one of the best web resources available for Warhammer 40K Dawn of War, both the Craftworld Eldar/Dance of the Macabre Mods are something your team should be proud of. Is there a site for the Craftworld Eldar? The Dance Macabre site is Harlequins only, as far as I can tell.

Sorry for being so quiet, girlfriend moved in from the US been helping her settle and not had much time to post updates. Won't explain why else I'm swamped with work as most people won't care
Defender squad with warlock leader and platform UPGRADE.
Storm Guardians + Their Shuriken Pistols.

The striking scoprions are really great looking.
The Wave Serpent's shield could have been a little more obvious, but I don't know how it behaves in game.

Outstanding work, Shin! That WS's Shield is still beta I think. Dunno.. having a unit have shields reminds me of Starcraft's Protoss. Sweetness all around!
Wow cool nice work can wait for you suprise, just one comment, as compiler said the sheild you cant really see, maybe just have it appear as flash of energy at the point the shots hit, but i doubt that is possible
The shield is very WIP at the moment, it was put there more like a proof of concept than anything else

The Striking Scorpions look good as well. What's their role? Are they general close-combat troops, anti-infantry, or something else?
Anyway, this mod is looking great overall. I hope we'll hear some more soon.
I think their role is the one of an infantry-slashing-unit.

Morat, the striking scorps are like banshees but stronger and not as good against heavy armor.

Neat looking work - I personally am not used to the orange, hehe, but I'm sure it looks better in-game and in-motion. It just seems to contrast a lot and be too defined (eg: compared to a flamer).

Yup it's actually allready working just doesn't have fx yet. But the head targets independantly from the shuriken pistol and actually works as a very short ranged weapon

Also going to pick on the fluff abit... Is that the actual shuriken FX or a custom one? I'm pretty sure the shuriken fires shards of monomolecular crystals as opposed to actual shurikens!

well, Eldar shiruken weapons fire monomolecular slices of solid-core ammunition in the shape of shiruken (although, Japanese shiruken are actually bolts. What we think of as shiruken are actually throwing knives).
So a piece of plastic one molecule thick and travelling at almost relativistic velocities is unlikely to look much like a shiruken to the naked eye :P
Shuriken take all many of shape shin, bolts are just one kind. BTW did the know that "kunai" were in actuality gardening tools? but thats off topic.
shin was it you or someone else that tried to get mandi-blasters to work but had trouble with the range limit?

Wonderful work Shingouki! It seems that your alliance with Catwell is bringing many fruits. The actual glow brings out the shuriken shapes just fine. The wave serpent looks impressive. The scorpions look perfect, imo only their texture need a little more dirt. Bravo for the fusion gun fx too, it is a very unique melta variation

It's a custom shuriken fx with 4 random shurikens.
The middle will be teamcolourable
there are four, there is no center....
The middle of each one would be teamcolourable most probably.

Well its really seems that even though your schedule may be hectic right now you are still really grinding the axe so to speak the newest pictures really give some great insight as to what the community will be in for when the new mod is released I’m sure that you will have really a fanatic frenzy of mayhem when the mod is finally released from all the buzz you're going to stir up.

and finally someone is doing the little things that matter, and the more units in game the better IMO as it brings the game more realism to the 40k universe and more tactics.

Ok guys, Still working away on the craftworlds mod getting close to a Winter Assault beta now. Lots of units now happily running around in game shooting at stuff and a pretty stable tech tree in place.
Just thought you'd like to see the final vehicle that is going into place.
Texture by Catwell. Original model by Vince Czimadia and Tweaked for better compatiblity with the DoW engine by Stranger.
I'm holding back on showing some of the other things I've done for the mod as I want them to be a surprise. Or at least shown in a more interesting way *similar perhaps to my PR shots for Steel Legion*.

The quality of this mod just blows me away. Eldar were always my fav TT race and to see them done so professionally just brings tears to my eyes
On a note about the Harliquins. Will we get to use the Harliquins kiss (sick weapon). I will donate all my internal organs to see one of those in action.
