That indicates that he's not dead yet, and can be saved by a medic. That brings him back to fighting shape at the field HQ in a short while.

Yup, i read about that somewhere, most probably here. Looks like what we've read is true to form.

I think its brilliant that Relic have gone to this level, a true breakthrough compared to 99.9% of other RTS games.
