I have been warned and alerted by Praxis that i am not to post QS strategy in exsiting threads residing in the Strategy section of DOW unless i create a new thread.
the thread in question (which created this entire fiasco)is entitled "Stopping T3 infantry spam". I fail to see how the concept of "spam" is not inherently linked to QS given the numerous threads complaining that QS is nothing but spamfests. Working under this assumption, i feel that i am right in posting QS strategy in this thread.
I seem to be the only member who acutally posts QS strategy because no-one else does. i do admit that i may take replies a little too personally sometimes. The strategy forums should cater for both standard and QS players. In this particular case, strategy input from a QS veiwpoint was warranted and was not added to deliberately derail the thread into a debate about standard vs QS.
however, my beef is with Praxis himself. Praxis (formerly known as [TLSC]Praxis) is a competent standard player and since i joined last year, i have come to learn that players of his calibre in these forums (one only needs to look at certain automatchers' signatures to see such bias) tend to look down upon QSers such as myself as not knowing jackshit about strategy because QS is apparently a noob-only thing.
Having Praxis warn me (because he happened to come across it) about posting inappropriate strategy in a thread that obviously warrants QS input given its title is wrong IMO. His background prior to becoming a moderator is biased and as such, i feel hard done by his prejudice towards QS (further evidence stems from the fact that i had a heated debate with him about strategy prior to him becoming a Mod). The tone of his PMs also supports this with statments such as "I am tired of reading QS strategy posted by you in every strategy or balance discussion that i come across" or words to that effect. I wouldnt be so worked up if any other mod (Adonis, Slow_Runner, TBS etc.) had warned me (and i do realise that Slow_Runner is a standard res player but Slow handles matters in a more delicate way).
I therefore kindly ask that the senior admins review this and possibly resolve the matter in a manner where all parties involved can be appeased.
