Now this is what movies should be about. Infact anyone who ever wants to make a film, wants to get better at making flilms, and want to gain a better taste in films should watch this movie. If I ever rule the world I would make this movie a mandatory view for anyone who wishes to attend school in cinema.
A Tale of Two Sisters is a tale were two sisters is released from a mental facility and returns home. Unfortunately the house contains a very grim and dark tale. I cant explain this movie without spoiling, but the plot is so imaginative and full of twists that it quickly becomes a very enjoyable film to watch.
This movie is not about cheap scares. Infact this movies isnt a horror film, and while there is gore, bang, and ghosts, they're part of the minority. This movie is more like a mystery, were you're giving clues to what is truly going on up untill the ending were everything just simply makes sense.
The camera play is awesome! Everything from angles, to the subtle clues they place in this movie all adds up. And while not being a horror film first and foremost, the few parts that is horror garuntees to leave you in a chill. There's a minimal amount of CG, and the 1 bit of CG in it is tastefuly done.
The major complaint I hear about this movie is 'I dont understand what is going on'. Unfortunately this is going to be true with alot of people who is not use to reading in between the lines. I cant relate to this for I figure out the truth 2/3s within the movie. But I recommend watching it twice, hell 4 times. Like I said before, this movie haves alot of subtle, yet meaningful, clues to what is going on.
All in all this movie is one of my all time favorites. My only complain with this movie is that movies of this caliber is very few and far between and many movies who attempt to reach this level will fall very, very, short.

Possibly the best movie of its genre.
Bad stuff:
Makes other movies look like a joke, and thus makes going to the movies boring.
